This tour was an excellent way to be able to see Taipei city on your own terms within a short time frame. My guide and driver was more than happy to answer my million questions about Taiwan and he was happy to adapt to my schedule (sometimes I just wanted to drive by a location rather than stop and get out). My only complaint is that I wish there had been two of him (one to drive/park and one to guide). Sometimes I had to go alone to locations as we were unable to find parking. Which is not his fault at all, but it would have been nice to be able to ask him questions about certain things or have him take my picture at certain locations. If I were not solo travelling this would have been less of an issue. All and all though I feel that I got my moneys worth.

Had a short layout tour in Taipei, our tourguide Mr. Jackson provide a great hospitality, he able to provide a lot of nice information about the city and also recommended us a lot of places to visit based on our availability.
My kids manage to tried out the Taiwan's famous Mango Avalanche dessert and dishes from the famous Ding Tai Fung 鼎泰丰, all thanks to Jackson.

The guide was quite nice and accomodating. I got to see the main landmarks of Taipei. I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody with a 6hr+ layover.

The itinerary was very good, and I was quite pleased I was able to see some highlights even in my limited time ... and starting at 7am. I enjoyed seeing the Grand Hotel and a temple. The Changing of the Guard at the CKS memorial was excellent, as was lunch at a local noodle house. I also enjoyed the historic street even though no shops have opened there yet. I enjoyed taking the subway also. The only downside was the guide was not feeling well and spent a lot of time on his phone and in the restroom. At the end of the tour, he lost his car in a giant parking lot, so we had to wander around trying to find it. It all worked out in the end, but there could be some areas to improve in future.

Jack was my personal tour guide for the morning. As this was my first time in Taipei, I didn't really know what to expect, although I was looking forward to getting some street food at one of the markets. Jack had planned an itinerary that hit the must-see spots - Baoan Temple, the changing of the Guards (got there right on the dot), and the Opera House/Memorial before we headed off for a bowl of noodles, followed by a tea-tasting, an experience that I hadn't counted on initially but turned out, for me, to be a memorable highlight of the tour. Jack was knowledgeable and very easy to talk with. I highly recommend this tour if you have enough time during your layover and let Jack introduce you to the best of Taipei.

We had a 24 hour layover in Taipei and Nicolas was our guide. Very prompt and excellent way to see an important part of the city to entice you to return. He had great knowledge of history, all the places we visited as well as personal demonstrations to make the memories more real. I would highly recommend using Nicolas for your layover service in Taipei!

I had a wonderful experience on the trip with Nicolas. He brought such a positive energy, always smiling and creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Nicolas provided detailed explanations about the history and culture of the place, helping me gain a deeper understanding of the destination. Even though I only chose a 6-hour tour, with Nicolas's skillful arrangement, I had the opportunity to fully experience the trip and enjoy the delicious local food and drinks. I am very satisfied with this trip and will definitely return. Thank you so much, Nicolas!

Our layover tour with Paul was amazing. We get to see beautiful sites and the experience is one for the books. Paul is very informative and we really appreciate the good eats he recommended. Will look him up again on our next trip back. Thank you Paul for the great picture and for taking us back in time to the airport.

We did our layover tour with Jack and it was great! He was very knowledgeable about the country, Taipei and the culture; plus: funny, super experienced and hence little to no waiting times, perfectly located parking,… and the ride in a current Mercedes was very comfortable. Thanks to the YOLO Taiwan team for this experience. We‘ll definitely be back for a longer sojourn.
One thing to consider for the layover tour is that the relocation between Taoyuan and Taipei can take long during rush hours.

Hello, we will have a 7hr layover in Taipei Taoyuan Airport on June 3, 2023 and would like to avail of this tour. Our Layover times are from 6:00am - 1:00pm. Wondering if there is anyone who have availed this tour recently and if our timing will be alright to have this tour and still come back on time for our flight? Any recent experience?

Does the tour time include going to the observation deck of Taipei 101?
Can the tour be extended to be 8 hours long and see another 1 or 2 attractions? What would the cost difference be?

How early can the tour start? We arrive in Taipei at 4:35 AM and fly out at 1:00 p.m. It’s my understanding that some of the tourist sites open as early as 6 AM. Thank you.

I would like to do my own itinerary during our layover... Yehliu Geopark, golden waterfall, Jiufen, Shifen waterfall, Shifen Old Street & some temples. Planning 10 hours. Can you do this? Thank you.

You can visit the Yehliu Geopark, golden waterfall, Jiufen, Shifen waterfall, Shifen Old Street with airport pick-up & drop-off service. You also can extend the tour duration by TWD 500 / per hour for a car / van to visit some temples on the date of travel. Is this your for only layover? actually I’ll arrive at Taoyuan international airport at 8:55 in the morning and the check in time of the hotel in Ximen is15:00, so there are about 6 hours. If you pick up at the airport and drop me at the hotel, I would like to join this tour. My arrival day is 1st of May. Is it possible? Could you please response my question?
