Allen was a fantastic tour guide who was most knowledgable about not just Hualien and it's history, but also had great recommendations for the rest of our trip throughout Taiwan! Being fluent in English, Allen was able to communicate the history and culture of Hualien, as well as the ongoing restoration updates to Taroko Gorge since the Earthquake. Since not many tours are available since the 2024 earthquake and typhoons, it was great to see the part of the Gorge that we could and with minimal crowds!

Allen was amazing, very knowledgeable. It is the best tour given the earthquake and natural disasters. His English is execellent.

We visited the Taroko National Park after the big earthquake that badly affected the east coast of Taiwan in April 2024 and the huge typhoons not long ago. Our tour guide Allen was not only fluent in English and mandarin, but professional, knowledgeable and despite the still- dangerous conditions of the park, he was most reliable.
There was not many guides operating since the quake and the typhoon, but it was importantly for me to see the gorge— at least the parts that we were allowed to access. My guest who was visiting Taiwan for the very first time also had Taroko National Park as one of his must- visits. To my shame, I had my doubts due to the danger presented by the quake, the tremor reverberates still. My guest was the one who said, then that is all the more reason that we must see what we can see of if!
Nature would do what nature would do- the gorge is still more magnificent than ever, and within reason and within safety, Taroko National Park still deserves to be seen. It is more awe- inspiring than ever.

Even though the Toroko Gorge was hit by an earthquake Allen organized a very nice alternative trip through the surroundings. We saw waterfalls, could do a hike and gotten a lot of information about the history of the country and it's inhabitants.

Allen couldn’t have been more helpful. He was in touch before the trip to arrange pick up from the Port. He then made sure we had such a good day. He was full of stories and facts about the trip. We loved the scenery and the walking. It was just stunning.

Took the 8 hour tour with Allen Taroko National Park. Everything that the tour said we would do we did. Allen was very informative on Taiwan history and the Taroko people. I would recommend the tour.
