Jade was our guide and she was great. We were half hour late due to St Giles Fair traffic issues but she very rapidly rejigged her planned route to get in everything we had wanted to see. So glad we did it as it was a great introduction to the City. As a student at Oxford, Jade had a real hands on knowledge of both current and particularly historic facts about the key landmarks and little nooks and crannies. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Our guide Jack made the tour so interesting, we learned a lot and his humour with the facts made it a great experience. A must do if you're in Oxford for the day and want to make the most of what's around you.

We had a amazing 2 hour walking tour and v must say our guide JO was best.... She was telling everything with her heart in it.... V really loved the way she started and completed the tour.... God bless her....thank you... personally I will make sure I come back with my kids and take the tour once again...

What a wonderful way to see Oxford. Worth doing and the two hours go very quickly. We did approximately 5000 steps so not too arduous. We loved all the facts and history and enjoyed viewing the historic buildings. Would definitely recommend this.

My family took a day trip to Oxford for a private tour with Footprints in early April. We loved the pretty town of Oxford, its history, the many fun and informative stories about the colleges, and our pie & pint at the ancient, hidden Turf Tavern, recommended by our charming student-guide, the fabulous Freddie! We enjoyed our experience with Freddie so much that we have decided to give our neighbors a private tour of Oxford in June (hopefully with Freddie if he's in Oxford for the summer) as our anniversary gift to them. Our tour was truly one of our best experiences we had in the UK. We absolutely loved it! Cheers and best of luck with exams, Freddie!!! Thanks also for taking some wonderful photos of our family on our walking tour.

We booked the 2 hour free walking tour of Oxford on 19 April and it was a great way to see the centre and hear about the university system.
Our guide was Adam Towers who did a great job especially as there were at least 20 in the group.
Adam's patter was informative as well as amusing which all helped to make it special.

We greatly enjoyed our walking tour of York. Our guide met us promptly at our hotel at the scheduled time - can't get much more convenient.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and moved at a quick enough pace to see the whole city, but not so quickly that we couldn't ask questions and spend more time at things which interested us.
I would highly recommend this as a "first thing" to do. It really gives you your bearings of the town and helps plan out the rest of your stay.

Is the price per person, i.e., about $600 for six people in the tour group?

Hi the price is per person. 19.00 GBP it is well worth it. There is also a free two hour walk and based on tips. The paying tour we did had about 12 people in total in the group.
