向导带我们去了雷克雅未克郊外的两个地方，还没有到的时候就已经隐隐约约可以看到一点极光了！到了时候刚好能看到！想要在室外看清楚极光，必须要在室外呆足够久的时间让眼睛适应暗度，这样才能看清楚。室外真的很冷，一定要多穿衣服。

非常特别的体验，在一望无际的冰川上，搭著有差不多一个人高轮子的车子，风景别致，沿途导游领队详细导览，使之深入了解更深入的冰川，而不致于流于走马看花。瀑布十分优美壮观，沿着步道可以看到不同面向的景观，非常漂亮

I highly recommend the Golden Circle with a Snowmobiling Glacier tour, available through Reykjavik Sightseeing. Hotel pick-up and drop-off were seamlessly efficient. The staff were helpful, polite and entertaining! The tour guide was informative. The Geysers and waterfall were amazing, but.....the snowmobiling experience was superb. A definite 'must do' whilst in Iceland.

We wanted to book a glacier snowmobiling & ice cave tour that starts from Reykjavik. The only chance to book this was in a full day tour also including the golden circle. We have been to the golden circle several times already and didn't really feel to go there again, but as we had no other chance to book the snowmobiling & ice cave tour we chose to book this full day tour.
When booking, it was offered as one full day tour by Reykjavik Sightseeing. We also got the confirmation that we booked one full day tour.
The tour was planned for sunday. Saturday afternoon we received an email, saying the glacier part of the tour is cancelled due to weather conditions. However, the golden circle part will still take place. If we want a refund for the glacier part, we have to contact the partner of Reykjavik Sightseeing who operates this part of the tour. It was only then when we found out, that it was to different tour operators, each offering a half day tour in cooperation. Nobody told us before. Nobody told us that it might happen that one part of the tour is cancelled and the other part will still operate. There was also no information about that on their website or in the booking process or booking confirmation. We thought (of course), that if the tour operator cancelles our tour that the whole tour is cancelled and that we will get a full refund.
This partly cancellation by the tour operator happened less that 24 hours before our tour was planned to start. So we had no chance to cancel the rest of the tour as well for a full refund. Plus, we had to call the hotline several times until finally someone took up the phone telling us, that for our request we have to contact the "cancellation and refund office", that is not working on weekends. So we had no chance to solve our problem between the cancellation by the operator and the planned start of the tour. Very poor service!
So we only got that email saying they expect us to be on the golden circle tour the next morning, and that we can request a partly refund for the rest of the tour. In this email there was not even an information about the price break down for the tour. We had no idea how much refund we could expect. Plus, and that was the worst part, it was not even our booked golden circle tour they expected us to join the next day!! We originally booked a small group tour, max. 18 participants, starting at 7:30am, which would have managed to avoid meeting all the large busses with hundreds of tourists at the stops along golden circle. But they rebooked us on a different tour (large bus, 60 people in one group, starting at 8:00am together with several other large busses for the same tour), without even asking us if we are fine with that! Without giving us the option to get a refund instead of joining this tour! Unashamedly they told us in this email that the golden circle part of our tour "will still take place". But it was not our tour that we had booked! It was a different tour they rebooked us for with a different starting time.
So, as a result I can say, the tour operator cancelled the whole tour we had booked. But, in order to make money, they rebooked us for a different tour without us agreeing and were not willing at all to give us a refund for the tour that we had booked and payed for and that they had cancelled.

We are sorry to see that your Glacier activity was canceled. This can happen as the snowmobiling part occur on a glacier where the weather conditions can change very fast and cancelation may happen having our customers safety in mind.
Your Golden Circle tour was not reschedule to another tour as we only offer big coach tours and not minibuses tours on Golden Circle. The departure time was also the same, as the combo Golden Circle and Glacier departs at 08:00, like your rescheduled Golden Circle tour.
We do not operate any tours leaving at 07:30, but this may be confused with when pick up starts, as this happens 30 min prior to departure time (for all our tours).
We invite you to contact us at info@rss.is with your booking number to investigate further your refund case.

We did the northern lights tour on the first night, and we didn’t get to see them, but they took us again the next night for free and they came out- it was absolutely amazing! we then did the golden circle and snowmobiling, where we got to see the gaizer and snow mobile around the glaciers, which was one of the best experiences of my life! we finished the trip with the whale watching cruise, where we got to see mr flack the humpback whale. again, it was such a fantastic experience. all of the transfer busses were on time and all of the tour staff were so friendly and helpful. i got sea sick on the cruise and they had anti sickness tablets which was brilliant and they worked! they just had everything planned out and executed perfectly which made our trip one we will never ever forget. i would definitely recommend doing all of these tours, especially the snowmobiling

Dette var en super opplevelse. Snøscooter turen var helt fantastisk. Guiden Svenbjørn var en morsom fyr med morsomme faktaer og historier om Island.

First stop National park… in complete darkness. Left there for an hour. Waste of time, would have been nice to visit in daylight. Next stop geyser…. Nice experience, left there for 1hour, don’t think we needed to be this long. Was told at this point if your going onto glacier you need to eat as you will not get another opportunity. This would have been nice to know beforehand as only 11.30 and too early for lunch. Off next to waterfall..once there was told we would be heading off to the glacier for the snowmobile, we would be brought back to see waterfall only if we had time as bus leaves 5pm. I think we should of been allowed 15 minutes to enjoy waterfall. Went off to glacier, big bus picked us up. Looked great… went off to glacier. Unfortunately bus broke down, waited over 30 minutes to be taken to the snowmobiles, Fabulous experience and very well done. If I had to make I suggestion it would be to give those that we’re not experienced to have a little practice before being thrown straight into it, following fast experienced drivers. Must say though the guides were very good and looked after everyone. This was well worth the money paid, my boyfriend had a fabulous time, although I was hanging on for dear life. Taken back to the waterfall… too late to see it. It was now getting dark and our coach was there to bring us back. Driver & guide very good, stopped at side of road for us to take pictures of the northern lights.

Totally recommend the Golden Circle with snowmobiling tour with Reykjavik Sightseeing company. Hotel pick-up and drop-off were seamlessly efficient. The tour guide was informative and helpful. The geysers and waterfall were amazing, but.....the snowmobiling experience was out of this world. A definite 'must do' whilst in Iceland.

Did this trip a few days ago whilst visiting Reykjavik and it was excellent. Fortunately the sun shone and we had blue skies. It was cold but the company provide you with an all in one warm suit, a balaclava, helmet and gloves. Be prepared for a long day as it takes around 10 -11 hours. The tour does stop at beautiful places including a volcanic park, Geyzir a geothermal site, and Gulfoss an incredible waterfall so in all an excellent day out. Would definitely recommend.

We did a few excursions, our days were packed!
Golden and circle and snowmobile
Northern light
South coast and the waterfalls
I read reviewes before booking, (not that it would have made a diff as i was doing them with a friend who had already booked the excursions), and there were a few negative ones, which now 3 days into our trip, i really dont understand.
Its been an amazing experience, the tour guides are so good, i didn't catch the name of the gentleman with the beard... he was informative and happy.
The golden circle + snowmobile is tight for timing, but there are a quite a few stops so understandable. I would highly recommend the snowmobile experience. The pictures are epic! And the ride is exhilarating. Dont pay extra for single rider, bc your thumb will take the brunt due to the lever. At least its only 30 mins of torture on yr thumb 😆
We saw the northern lights! Again, the tour guides were so good. Recommend.
Its really really cold so dont forget yr neck warmer!
Writing this whilst on the bus to the south coast tour. Current sitch- the bus windows need cleaning, the dirt disturbing my view.
But honestly, book your excursions through these guys.
Plus we were late a couple of times, the bus came back for us 🥲

Over promised. Under delivered. Over optimistic on what could be achieved. We spent over 13 hours on this trip of which 10 were on buses. Despite being advertised as golden circle we were rushed through the parliament park stop and we’re given no time to see the waterfall.
The snowmobile trip was fine however I’m the journey there is far too long. The vehicle used seem ex military and was cold cramped uncomfortable with poor visibility. Traveller with claustrophobia would fine it frightening. There appeared to be other more modern trucks so why use this one? The truck also had a tyre problem so we were stuck for over an hour whilst the driver waited for the correct tools to be brought. Very poor planning and added to the delays.
The final problem was the time taken to get back to Reykjavik. The coach seemed to drive at around 60kph - perhaps that is the legal limit but it was painfully slow leading to delays getting to northern lights tours. We cancelled ours as we had been travelling in buses for 13 hours, had no time to eat or wash and did not fancy another 3 hour bus ride.
The people are great, scenery wonderful when you can stop to see it however this trip tried to pack too much in and became rushed and very uncomfortable and was very expensive.
Recommend using smaller quick coaches perhaps.

Thank you for your time in writing us about your experience. We are sorry to see though that your day was not as expected.
We do offer a 30 min up to 1h time to spend on each sight, depending on the group pace.
The vehicle used to go up on the glacier is a heavy modified truck, as not any vehicle can reach up to the glacier.
Iceland was severely hit by storms in the past weeks, making driving conditions not easy at some pointes. Our driver does adapt the speed according to the road conditions and we will never go beyond the point when it becomes dangerous!
We hope you will visit Iceland again and join us on even more adventures!
