- babylaura00Perfect trip!I was afraid to drive the ring road by myself would be too tiring so I booked the minibus guided tour. It turns out great! We are a total of 15 people.Our driver/guide Valdi was the best! He even cooked us the first night dinner! So delicious! This tour includes all the classic scenery and more! Glacier hike and whale watching (I do wish there were option to upgrade to the smaller speed boat, but we saw the jumping whales anyway!) were all included! Plenty of time at each spot and the guesthouses were all lovely. Valdi is from Iceland so he is very familiar with his country's history and essence. He is very considerate and professional throughout the 7 days. And the food/restaurant he recommended were all good! Absolutely fantastic day, Kiki lead us well and was full of stories and information.
He herded us back to the bus when necessary and nothing was too much bother.
The day was excellent value for money as we were out for almost 11 hours.

Incredible day! We did this tour earlier this week, visiting Iceland from the UK. Our tour guide was Scule, he was great, super knowledgeable and a great sense of humour. He also squeezed in a few extra stops on our tour, which was awesome, giving us more than expected. Thanks for a memorable day!

What a fantastic trip! Our tour guide was Siddi he was approachable, friendly, funny and made the whole day even more memorable. Would 100% recommend this trip and this company. Plenty of time at each location and even some extras thrown.

Olí, our driver and guide, was great! Information flowed but with a sense of humor and always a smile. Great tour, with Blue Lagoon, as the highlight- or you could say Olí certainly a highlight.

Great tour, couldn’t recommend it enough. Our tour guide Addi was amazing, super knowledgable and friendly. I think the whole day is really well planned out with just the right amount of time at each stop.

This tour was amazing! They take you to all the places listed and give you enough time to enjoy. I recommend this tour if you go to Iceland for the first time.

'Ingo' was a super chilled guide and very knowledgeable.
The sights were breathtaking, unfortunately the weather did dampen spirits slightly but what can you do! Make sure you wear good waterproofs!!
Unfortunately we didn't and on the first stop to the thingvellir park we got drenched lol, but we soon dried off on the drive to the geyser.
Both these sights were reasonably impressive but the next stop at Gullfoss waterfall was nothing short of incredible, the power and majesty of it was truly breathtaking.
Kerid crater was a nice stop off on the way to the Blue Lagoon which lived up to the hype for me. The water was so warm, and every time a new wave of pressured geothermal water was introduced it felt amazing. Plus the complimentary beer while lazing in the warm water definitely helped!
We felt invigorated afterwards which continued for the whole next day too.
A truly memorable day out.

Great tour of the Golden Circle facilitated by our extremely friendly, erudite and perspicacious tour guide, Elias Alfredsson. Whilst quite a long tour (10:00-21:00), it took place in a comfortable sprinter with WIFI and charging ports. Also includes a sojourn to the Blue Lagoon (often not included in other Golden Circle tours).

Sammi was fantastic guide , we were lucky the weather was lovely . Very well planned and the Blue lagoon at the end was perfect for the last stop . I highly recommend this tour .

If you book the tour via Tripadvisor, u could select the hotel pick up or bus stop pick up. If your hotel is not the pick up place, u might send message to the tour company and they would let you know which bus stop is the nearest of your hotel stay.
Hope could help you.
Hello ! We will be disembarking from our cruise at 0700, does anybody know if we are able to bring our luggage to the tour? Wondering if we could store it in the bus? We won’t make it to the pick up time if we check in to our hotel first .

Any tips for a first timer in Iceland. My interest is in spending time at blue lagoon and doing some sightseeing. Any tips? Where are bus pick up points? Do they get paid before boarding bus?

Will there be any difference between 9am starting time and 10am one, will we have less time to spend in blue lagoon (since it is the last stop) if we choose the 10am departure time since it will end later at night ?

When I went in January we were on the 9am tour and got the full two hours at the Blue lagoon. There was another group going in after us so I think it opens later.

Someone in our tour group asked to upgrade at the site and was told it had to be done through the tour operator beforehand. It was quite crowded on the day we went though. I would email the tour operator before your trip to ask about upgrading.

It stopped at the Geysers for lunch which had a few different restaurants/cafes however we took a pack up as the cost of food on Iceland is expensive so made sense to us and the scenery is beautiful to eat outside and enjoy

Hi, we have booked this amazing experience but I have broken my foot and have a boot on do you think I would be OK? is there a lot of walking or climbing involved? I'm OK with walking but very slowly and carefully I Don't want to miss out on this trip as been looking forward to this for a while now

I think you could still see most things. At the waterfall our driver went to the middle viewing point which was the best and it was flat walking but not a ton. If you are pretty mobile I think you will be able to enjoy all the sights.
