This is a brilliant tour, Peter was our driver and he was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout. We stopped in the Lake District on the way to Hallstatt, and once in Hallstatt we had a great tour and free time to look around. It is a long day but don’t be put off by this!

Really awesome tour! They took us to several stops and overlooks by other lakes before coming to Hallstatt. While at Hallstatt, there was plenty of free time for us to explore. Really well-thought-out. I'm usually exhausted at the end of a 12-hour tour but I actually felt really energized by this one! It helped that we had perfect weather.

Wonderful way to spend a day. The driver was so pleasant and accommodating. So much better to see the countryside via auto, than train. Were able to make short stops along the way at sweet villages. Scenery was spectacular, especially all the lakes. Was somewhat disappointed that Hallstatt was so crowded, but understanable.

We visited Vienna in June 2022 and we went on a day trip to Hallstatt with White Alligator Tours and it was the highlight of our trip! Hallstatt was beyond amazing and breathtaking! Our driver Peter was extremely nice and kept the group entertained and engaged with his exceptional live commentary the entire drive. He picked us up from our hotel on time and dropped us off at the end of the tour. On our way to Hallstatt, we stopped at Unterach am Attersee and St Gilgen for breaks and to admire some sceneries. For me, this made the trip extra special as we get to see and learn more of Austria, and it kinda gave us a taste of what we were about to see!
When we arrived at Hallstatt, we were greeted by our tour guide who was also excellent and informative. At the main square, she gave us an option to carry on with the tour or have an early free time. We opted for the latter only because we only had coffee for breakfast and we were starving (our fault, not the tour’s)
If you’re having two minds about going on a day trip to Hallstatt, book your trip with White Alligator Tours and you will absolutely love it!

Great day trip. We made a couple stops on way to Hallstatt to small towns which were quaint and beautiful. Hallstatt is as picturesque as you think. Marco was a great and informative guide. Worth the trip!

i was a little hesitant to book this tour because it is a long journey, but Im so glad I did! White Alligator made it well worth the time. They picked me up on time, the van ride was very comfortable, the wifi worked great and they offered plenty of stops if needed. My guide was Albert and he was very friendly and engaging. The tour stopped at several places before we arrived at Hallstatt, and they were very scenic. Once the tour arrived, we had a guide for an hour and she was extremely friendly and informative. Then we had a couple hours to explore and enjoy the town. It must have been a long and difficult day for the guide, but you never knew it. We got back safely and on time. No complaints or suggestions. It was great.

The driver Marco was very friendly and accommodating. Our tour guide Christiana in Hallstatt was also very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. The town was stunning and felt like a fairy-tale place. Although it’s the quiet season, many shops were closed, all in all still an unforgettable experience.

This is an excellent trip, small group, reasonably priced for what you get, our driver was Marco and he could not have been more calm or more knowledgeable on all things Vienna and Austria. Long day but totally worth it.

One of the best trips I have ever had. I was picked up by Balash at the exact time agreed upon earlier, and he took me to Marco, who was our driver and tour guide. They are very friendly and nice people. Marco is well-informed and has an engaging style of explaining the area's history.
As for Hallstatt, it is a very friendly and small village. It has spectacular views and charming people.
I enjoyed the trip, and I highly recommend it with White Alligator Tour.

Our driver/guide was an excellent professional. He gave us all the information about every step in our trip. Of course Hallstatt was fantastic place, a town coming up from the pages of an old fairy tale book. Alexandra, out guide there, was also a very good professional. For sure, the trip worth it's price and I would recommend it by all means.

Also, we don't know yet where our Viking ship will dock? Do you pick up from wherever the Viking ships are docked. Viking will not know the dock until right before arrival.

We went on a mini bus Mercedes with total 8 people. We stopped at two lakes before Hallstatt, it amazing place and lakes, time about 15-20 min at each stop.Day trip.
