Balazs gave us an excellent tour of Budapest, with tidbits about its history and all the significant places of interest. Was very attentive to our comfort, stopping on the highway at a gas station when we needed to stretch. We also got to wander around the market areas and weren't hurried. Very enjoyable trip

The trip was very good and informative. We learned many facts about Hungary that we never knew before. Budapest is also very beautiful so make sure to take your time and really absorb the scenery as you walk.

It was a great experience to see Budapest. The tour picked us up and the hotel and returned us to the hotel.
The tour allowed for frequent stops to see the sites and get gifts or food as needed.
I would take another tour with White alligator again
I highly recommend them.
The worst part of the trip was the rain.

The trip is an overview of Budapest, with only a few stops, but several hours free time in the city. Our guide/driver, Marcos, gave us lots of information and could answer any questions. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. We had the small group tour and our mini van was full, 8 travelers and guide. If you are a large or tall person, you may be uncomfortable during the 2 hour drive.

Marco was our guide, and I could not say enough about his knowledge and history. He answered any question we had and was so enjoyable to be around. They have worked to hit a lot of the highlights and give you enough time to see a few things on your own with the tight schedule. Also, great recommendations for food. Highly recommend this tour.

Markus was an excellent driver and guide for our day trip from Vienna to Budapest. He was knowledgeable and flexible - able to make adjustments as needed due to the Pope's unexpected visit to Budapest during our trip! We saw a lot of impressive sites, learned a bit of history and had some excellent Hungarian food. We had a good mix of being in the van and walking around on our own in both Buda and Pest. It was like our own little private “Hop On - Hop Off Tour” for 8 people. Highly recommend!

If you want to explore Budapest and only have limited time to do it, then this day tour is for you!
Coach is spacious and comfortable. Our driver/guide was friendly and knowledgeable and supper funny! He gave such good tips on what to eat along the stops.
We were able to check out some most important historical sites and architects of the city.
Make sure to pick out the places you want check out accordingly so that your limited 2-4 hour free time is planned efficiently.

immediately felt comfortable with the warm+ friendly + knowledgeable Balazs, our guide. Easy pickup from hotel. Wealth of info on politics, news, architecture, food +wine, history of Austria, and Hungary, and more. Also showed us the spots for photos. Nice breaks to explore. Last spot was nice to shop, walk promenade, and eat. We got home at reasonable hour to Vienna. I left tour feeling I got more than what it cost. Great guide who gave a great tour.

We had a fabulous trip to Budapest! It was the perfect day and enjoyed our guide Balazs incredible knowledge of the history and places to see in Budapest! Fluent in so many languages including English, Balazs had no issues communicating or connecting with the group! In Budapest a favorite for our family was the- All in one tour of St Stephens- climbing the tower to the observation deck is worth every step- or take the elevator…. Thanks you White Alligator and Balaz’s for a great day!!!

Peter was a very knowledgeable and helpful tour guide. We learned so much about Hungary/Budapest/Vienna. The van was very comfortable. So many wonderful things to see in Budapest. We brought 3 kids along, and they also enjoyed. It was nice to be in small group.

Hello - I previously booked this trip for April 17 (Confirmation #1264874878) and never received my refund as the trip was canceled .

I didn't have this problem, so I can't advise you, except that when things like this happen to me, i let American Express take care of it. They have not disappointed me yet. Other credit card providers may have similar customer services.
Is this tour still possible with omicron variant? I am fully vaccinated (2 rounds plus booster) coming from South Korea to Vienna.

Yes, I believe that’s possible. I’m vaccinated three times and the tour guide checked. You also need to show proof of vaccination (2 plus booster), along with your passport, when you re-enter Austria from Hungary.
It’s really an amazing tour! You will love it.
We are 3 Americans. Which Covid Test do we have to show a "negative" in order to get into Hungary?
Are all vehicles checked at the border? And then again when we return to Austria?

Hello, we went to Hungary from Austria. There were no checks at the border at all and in Budapest they had lifted restrictions altogether. On our return our COVID pass was checked at the border when returning to Austria. I have Pfizer vaccine and all was ok.
Can Americans take this tour at this time in August 2021?

Hello, as far as I know Americans are able to travel in the EU. I think you will need to show a negative test or proof of vaccination and then you're all set. I am in Paris at present and have been doing tours and there are loads of Americans here too. Safe travels :)
