I don’t know if they have height restrictions but at 5 ft 9 in it was tight with my legs in the back. I also had a hip replaced two months before so that leg didn’t bend as comfortably. The front would be better. But they do place people in seats based on weight to balance the helicopter that might mean they have to sit in the back. It’s great thing to do if you can. Especially when you first get to the island because it gives you a geographical overview.

I loved the ride, I have a slight fear of heights, but once you realize you are buckled in and not going any where you relax. My husband cannot do any of the motion rides at Disney, but on the open doors helicopter ride he was fine, he loved it. We would definitely do again. Seems like you know yourself, but if you decide to do the ride you will enjoy. Have a great time in Hawaii!!!!!!

I think my tour was about 50 minutes. It was fantastic

We had four on our flight. My husband and I had the rear seats. Not sure weight wise but two in front were lighter in weight then us. We could see everything and our pilot Steve pointed out things to us he called us by name to say look here or there. The trip was wonderful would do again.

You can sit next to pilot but doors are still off. Once you take off you will be that focussed on the beautiful scenery you won’t notice the doors off
