We've taken many food tours around the world, and the Osaka tour was the best. Our tour guides Adam and Dominic were wonderful and they took us to several places where locals were eating/drinking. We felt like we experienced the real Osaka -- a smaller version of Dotombori with a lot less tourists!
Make sure to come with an appetite! We ate at least 11 delicious dishes (and drank quite a bit), but Adam did a great job of stretching out the meals with short walks and lots of great conversation. We learned about Osaka's merchant history and fabulous food culture.
We would 100% take this tour again, and with the same guides!

Our guide was great. I hate it I can’t remember his name, he’s an artist who paints and does these tours. He spoke perfect Americanized english and threw in some cool and edgy info about the local area we were visiting. Local foods and drinks were all very good and most were not items I would have known to try. After the tour ended, he took those who wanted to see more through Osakas “adult” district. Definitely not an area we would have gone to with someone who knew the ropes. Great tour.

Our family really enjoyed the Osaka foodie tour through Shinsekai. Our tour guide, Tommy, was fun and knowledgeable and made our night not just about eating food. There were lots of food options and a few drinks thrown in. You definitely want to arrive on an empty stomach.

I've been on a lot of food tours around the world. The Osaka food tour was possibly the best I've ever done. Our guide, Anna, really made the tour fun, and she also gave us great insights into her country and its people. She seemed to know everyone in this huge food paradise of a neighborhood. Very lively neighborhood! We had a great group. Lots of laughs and incredible food and drink. There were some memorable experiences, such as the udon food stall where you wait for an open space, get in there and eat a bowl of awesome udon while standing at the counter. Get in, slurp noodles, get out, and then stand on the street and say Did that just happen? Over two weeks we ate our way across Japan, and this was one of the highlights. Osaka is an amazing food city. I hope to have a chance to do this tour again someday. Highly recommend and ask for Anna!

Mico our tour guide was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, eager to assist with any questions about Japan culture and further tour advice.
Cannot recommend enough, lots of food, came away full and very happy with whole experience- you won’t regret it!

A tasty way to experience nighttime Osaka and learn about Japanese food and a unique style of dining out. Our guide was Kevin, a Canadian, who was both knowledgeable and entertaining. Be ready for some great photos of food and an interesting part of the city at night. The meeting place is a bit tricky but be sure you can count the fifteen lanterns and you'll know you're in the right place.

Anna was a fantastic guide; she was informative, friendly and entertaining and made sure everyone felt included. The food was delicious and plentiful - excellent value for money and we tried a wide variety of dishes. I’d love to see some sushi added in future!

Three of us signed up for this Osaka food tour with high expectations. After all, Osaka is famous for great food. Expectations exceeded! Our guide, Anna led the festivities and participated fully in the fun. Our tour group of nine got to know each other and enjoyed a memorable Saturday night laughing and talking. I enjoyed every bite of each stop. Many delicious drinks were consumed! Anna led the way and we all enjoyed an unforgettably fun and lively night.

Kevin was a fun and very knowledgeable guide. We ate at places we never would have found on our own and tried several new and delicious dishes and drinks. We would highly recommend doing this tour at the start of your stay in Osaka.
