We had an excellent day touring Oahu! Our guide Ian was fabulous and funny, and because we had a small group, we were able to spend our time actually seeing the sights rather than waiting around for everyone to get collected. Pick up and drop off were convenient and painless--and 7:25am wasn't such an early start, though we were the last ones to be picked up because of the location of our hotel.
The highlight of the tour was definitely the Waimea Valley botanical gardens and waterfall. So beautiful and such a great opportunity to really see the plant and bird life of the island. It helped that Ian is such an animal lover, so we got to hear an insider's view of the local flora and fauna. We also really loved the beachside stops and an extremely yummy lunch, plus the chance to get a Dole Whip at the Dole Plantation without having to spend too much time in such a tacky tourist trap. The macadamia nut farm we visited, though also geared for visitors, was a much nicer vibe. My only wish was that we would have had more time to learn about macadamia nut production. Overall, this was a great day out and highly recommended!

Our tour guy/driver ‘Ray’ was extremely knowledgeable on island history, prompt and a pleasure to be in the presence of. Such a sweet guy and a gem for this tour company! The only gripe I had was how short the time was for the macadamia farm and dole plantation was, but I guess you can’t spend too much time there or we’d lose most of the day/not make time for people wanting to get back by 3:30pm. Bring a coffee cup or canteen! They have small cups to taste (you can order their coffee overseas) but don’t allow you to pay for a full cup in the morning when you’ll want it! The waterfall was fantastic! I felt healed and refreshed afterward. This is a fantastic tour! God Bless, Ray! Mahalo!

A friend and I took this tour our first day in Hawaii to get an overview of and acquatined with the Island, and to say we're glad we did would be an understatement.
A tour guide can make or break a tour, and our guide Ian took the tour from a 10 to a 15. He was informative and funny, and kept all the tour guests entertained and involved, and we all were friends for the day.
He made sure we were comfortable and taken care of, and we had plenty of time at each stop to truly enjoy the experience the stop offered.
We got to see parts of Hawaii we could never have seen on our own, and learn about this beautiful place Ian proudly calls home.
Mahalo for memories to last a lifetime!
I recommend this tour without hesitation.

Ian was awesome! He was very knowledgeable, but not in a boring customer service way (ask him to use his customer service voice). 😉 He definitely makes sure you know a little about everyone else, so get ready for questions! The views were awesome, you will get some great pictures. We went to the waterfall, and it was a welcome cool down dip. Lunch was very delicious, even though I’m not a shrimp person. I also have celiacs, and Ian was very helpful on what was safe for me to eat. The coffee and macadamia nut tasting was a nice treat. Like I said, you will not regret it, 12/10!!!!!

Our Tour Guide and driver Ray was super- fantastic. Very professional, knowledgeable and highly courteous.

This tour was amazing! We had a blast and our tour guide, Ray, was awesome. We stopped at some beautiful scenic locations. The best part was the waterfall. The hike there took about 20 minutes and was a fairly easy hike was all paved. The water felt so good after that hike. I would definitely do this tour again. Also, I would like to thank UK Kevin for suggesting this to us.

Tour leader and bus driver Jay provided an incredible day touring North Shore and the island. He was informative, interesting, fun, organized and friendly. Waimea Falls & Botanical Garden was gorgeous. The food lunch location was cute with delicious food. Great day! Bravo

We’re staying in Waikiki so it was a great day seeing the scenic beaches and mountains of the North Shore. Our guide, Jay, was amazing. He grew up in Hawaii and he had tons of fun facts to teach us.

Jay is a fantastic tour guide! Showed us some amazing sights and took us on fun extra detours like a fruit stand because there was extra time. Swimming in the waterfall was a highlight of my trip here, highly recommend

I noticed that with larger tour groups, you need to show negative covid test within last 48 hours or vaccination card and ID. However, I did not see that requirement for this tour. Wondering whether there is a requirement or not. Thanks.

No, we did not have to show either vaccination card or negative test. But we were required to wear masks.

Does this tour include swimming at Waimea Falls and at beach stops? I understand that there is an entry fee to Waimea but wasn’t sure how much time was allotted at each stop. Also, if swimming is possible, are there changing facilities or do you recommend wearing a swim suit. Thank you!

You only get about an 1.5 hours at this location. So you have to hike the trail (depending on fitness level & amount of photos you take) and then if you get in the water - it would be a short dip because you have to allot time to make it back down. It’s a possible feat, but I would suggest wearing your swim gear so that you can make it a smooth transition. There are changing stalls, but it’s a busy spot. Hope this helps.
