Una spiaggia come la di vede nei film, immersa nella natura più totale, per raggiungerla percorri una strada sterrata che ti porta indietro nel tempo dopo che parcheggi devi camminare per 10 minuti prima di affacciarti su una lingua di sabbia lunga 4 km o forse di più tutta a tua disposizione mare limpido e basso per molti metri

Beautiful place, without garbage, of sand with a high rocky coast in the first part to the right with crystals and continuing with the white rock like the Turkish staircase. Uncrowded, crystal clear water although we haven't seen many fish. It deserves. We recommend the right side.

Beautiful WWF oasis, between Siculiana and Eraclea.
Using the access "Pantano" the dirt road and rather easy apart from some stretches a little more challenging. As suggested by others though...watch the weather, in case of rain a Pantano is exactly what awaits you.
Pristine sea and wild nature, no service apart from parking with chemical baths about 200 meters from the beach 6 € for the whole day the cost).
From about 13.00 and for a few hours a van bar reaches the widening in front of the beach.
Typical limestone stratifications with banks of gypsum, white marl eroded by the wind, present some nesting of Caretta caretta turtles.
Being managed by WWF I would have expected some signs with information about flora and fauna that are completely absent, too bad.

Nature reserve very beautiful, wild and with a wonderful sea.
End of June and therefore very few people.
The road to get there is dirt, but easy; convenient parking and not far from the beach.
Arrived, you realize that it is you and nature... nothing that can shelter you from the relentless sun.
We used makeshift means to have some shade, otherwise impossible to stay there for a long time.
Ah, Recommendation: remember to bring sunscreen!!!

Hi,
Thanks for your blog it was the most informative thing we could find about Torre Salsa. We were a little unsure but drove our small Kia hire car down the bumpy track. It struggled to get up hills but made it down the bumpy pot hole road to the car park. It was a Sunday so there were a few cars in the car park. Parking is still €6 euros.
Being British we decided to go for a hike along the cliff in the 40 degree heat. A small path from the beach lead us up the cliff and along. We had to go through some private property but it was shown as a foot path on my all trails map. We stopped at a few viewing points then at the watchtower cut our way down to the beach. Plopped in the sea which was just wonderful. We then wandered back along the beach with the occasional dip and snorkel. Unfortunately there were some clear plastic bags littering the beach. Conscious turtles nest on the beach and clear plastic bags look like jelly fish we started to collect rubbish. Sadly by the end we had a big sack full of rubbish, but felt we had done our bit. There were pink
Jelly fish in the water which I believe sting but as the water is so clear you can see them quite easily.
Back at the beach accessed by the car park we found an ice cream van which did a fabulous tub of mixed flavours.
We had a fantastic day but did go prepared with food, lots of water, sun cream, mask
& snorkel. Well worth the trip.

The road to get to the reserve is absolutely passable in peace, it is unpaved but it should be followed with the same precautions as a country road. Of course, if it starts to rain (as it happened on the day of our visit to the beach) it is better to leave, because the road would turn into a quagmire. The beach is beautiful. The directions to follow are for the "Pantano" entrance, upon arrival there is a paid parking space (6 euros) presumably managed by the WWF which takes care of the reserve.

Dirt road, but the arrival repays everything, even the €6 parking fee (however you can stay for several hours). Clear sea, uncontaminated nature, beach of very fine white sand enclosed behind by vegetation and on the sides by rocks. Beautiful!

BUONA SERA. Una cortesia: mi sapete dire come posteggiare vicino alla spiaggia di Torre Salsa? Ho sentito parlare di una applicazione tramite cui si può prenotare il parcheggio attiguo. Grazie

Per quanto riguarda la applicazione, non so dirti nulla. Noi abbiamo parcheggiato le macchine fuori dall'area della Riserva, cioè sulla strada non asfaltata in prossimità del cartello "Ingresso Pantano": c'era lo spazio sufficiente e abbiamo lasciato lì cinque automobili. Ho visto però che la maggior parte delle auto in arrivo proseguivano lungo la stradella oltre il cartello per giungere, qualche centinaio di metri più in là, che noi abbiamo raggiunto a piedi, ad uno spiazzo-parcheggio a pagamento. Salve a tutti,
la spiaggia di Torre Salsa è all'interno di una riserva maturale e più specificatamente in zona A . l'accesso ai cani in tutte le zone A delle riserve di tutto il mondo è vietato così come più in generale nelle riserve naturali. E' una questione di rispetto delle norme e di legalità . le motivazioni sono varie lì vale una per tutte : è un sito di nidificazione di tartarughe marine e lo scavre di un cane (che nulla fa se non il proprio ) distruggerebbe un nido stessa cosa come azione di disturbo per altri esseri viventi

ciao, da quale agriturismo siete passati, quanta strada sterrata avete dovuto fare? quanto costa il parcheggio, visto che hai specificato che il ticket è piu alto? di la 3€ parcheggio tutto il giorno, venti minuti di strada sterrata e duecento metri a piedi per la spiaggia, voi? grazie

ci sono due accessi. uno va verso l'azienda torre salsa . ha un costo di accesso differenziato auto e passeggeri. l'altro lungo la sterrata porta ad un parcheggio privato in località Funcitedda.

Io credo proprio di no intanto perché la
Strada non lo consente. Poi non so se è consentito, meglio chiedere al WWF che gestisce l'area .

ciao, volevo chiedere se per raggiungere la spiaggia in macchina si debba utilizzare una strada impervia. abbiamo l'auto a noleggio e non vorrei rovinarla, non vorrei avere problemi. Altrimenti a piedi? distanza?

La strada é in parte sterrata, solo in 3 o 4 punti bisogna stare molto attenti, basta andare piano. Io ho preso la strada che va verso la parete di marna.

Bisogna arrivare in pullman a Siculiana a da lì prenotare la visita gratuita con il
Wwf siculiana con qualche giorno di anticipo , vi accompagneranno in riserva loro

nel periodo estivo, se prendi per l ingresso pantano, puoi arrivarci tranquillamente in auto procedendo a passo d' uomo, e arrivati ad un parcheggio, trovi un uomo rispettosissimo e gentile paghi 3 euro per l' intera giornata per l' auto, la spiaggia è libera.
