I saw the reviews and wanted to go check this place out, it’s a hole in the wall now that is a very small bar above a craft beer brewery. We could barely find it as you go up stairs that are very small, we asked the neighbouring restaurant to help us find it. Definitely no stage, just a small pub with bartenders doing magic tricks, we thought it was a full on show. The bartenders were great just had a different idea in mind when we showed up from the pictures and reviews. If your in the area grab a drink but wouldn’t necessarily go down there just for this bar like us.

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and looked after. Great attentive staff with magic talents. $50 aud 90 minute free flow drinks. A stage show and table magic. We loved every minute !! Staff learning english and did so well.

Absolutely loved the show. We spent 2 1/2 weeks in Japan and it was definitely a highlight among the entertainment while we were there. The performers were all fantastic, the lead magician Toho was very charismatic and fun.
The table magic was a nice addition to the main show, Lua was really fun and helped to add to the evening.
It’s a shame it’s limited to 90 minutes as we could have easily stayed all night but I understand why.
Do not miss.

90分、ゆっくり飲む時間もあり、テーブルマジックから、ステージマジック、外国人のお客さんも日本人のお客さんも気がつけばみんなで歓声をあげ、同じリアクションをしながら、笑顔になりました。楽しい夜をありがとうございました。

Hi. I’m a bit confused as to how the Magic bar works. I’ve booked a table from 7pm but it seems it’s only for one hour. I thought I was making a dinner reservation but now I’m not sure if they even sell food. Is it really $50 person for one hour or have I read that wrong? It that the price for an hour of magic entertainment? It’s important to me because it’s for my partners birthday and he loves magic.

I think it’s about $40 per person for 90 minutes. After 90 minutes the Herald you out the door and stop coming over to your table to do table side magic. They have a show that is free for very good. The magicians Rexland and they come over to your table to do tableside magic. The 90 minutes includes all the drinks that you want to, although they are not very generous in coming over to refill your drinks. This could be a wonderful experience if they didn’t set the clock for 90 minutes and then literally kick you out

I will be in Tokyo in a few weeks and would like to attend the Magic Bar Tehinaya Shinjuku!
- Is the VIP price per person or per table?
- Do i need a reservation?
- I have 7 people in my group, will that be ok?
- Are there specific times to show up for shows or anytime for close up magic?

-The VIP room charge system requires a VIP room charge plus the Regular fee.
(Regular fee is 3,000 yen to 5,000 yen per person.
Entrance until 8:00 p.m. ¥3,000
Entrance until 9:00 p.m. ¥4,000
Entrance after 9:00 p.m. ¥5,000)
(VIP room charge is 20,000 yen per hour)
-Even if you do not have a reservation you can enter. In the case of using the VIP room, it is easier to reserve it because there is only one room.
-7 people can be accepted.
-The show is always at your disposal so it is okay to come at any time.
