Hi, Pigeon Island is a beach area, with a national park. Beach is fabulous, white sand, crystal clear water, just beautiful, a couple of eateries, local cuisine and local drinks, so nice and relaxing, I would absolutely recommend this beach and the national park, which is open all day until around 5pm or 6pm if I remember correctly. The national park is a lovely day out with lots of walks, picnic areas and a lovely hidden restaurant, and a private beach with sun loungers, the snorkelling is just lovely! :)

Hi. We were on a cruise and took a taxi to the location. I'm sorry I can't give you any details about the national park as we did not go. The beach is nice and clear and would recommend this.

I just double checked the price of the 1A bus. It was $3EC/$1.15US per person each way & took around half an hour.

We used a family friend who operates out of Rodney Bay. His name is Donald and can be reached on Bartonddonald at hotmail . Com or on 758-450-8948 We paid $200 ECD for a round trip from Rendezvous to Cap Maison with a stop at Pidgeon Island. I can’t recommend Donald enough to transport you around the north of St Lucia (I believe he also covers airport transport too). Being local to Rodney Bay I imagine anyone coming in on the cruises would get a great deal to Pidgeon Island directly. If planning I would say drop him a mail and get a price on any day trips you want to do.

Hi we walked from our hotel but there did seem to be parking

We walked along the beach, past the water sports hut, the nice people can direct you to the entrance. The walk there was maybe 3 mins. There is a fee, I think it was about 6 dollars per person. You can spend as long a time as you like, it’s very interesting with trees labeled and how they were used and my husband enjoyed the military ruins.

They drop you off a few steps to the entrance of pigeon island. After you walk the fort, on the way down the beach is right ther, along with restaurant! You will love it
