We stumbled across this place whilst exploring around our hotel and came back again and again. We had paninis, bread baskets and the Royale Cheese and Meat board. The wine selection isn't huge but very good quality. The staff are friendly and helpful and this is a great place to relax and people watch whilst eating some of the best deli food you will ever have!

Our first meal on our first visit to Bologna did not disappoint. The platter of meat and cheese was delicious, but be warned, it’s very filling! Service was efficient but not overwhelming and the food itself was faultless. All this while observing the bustling street and admiring the ancient shops nearby. A truly Bolognese immersive experience.

Located in the center, very characteristic eating out at tables with stools, offers a variety of dishes all characterized by excellent cold cuts and cheeses. Beautiful wall full of cheese shapes and hanging hams. Very friendly staff and fast service. Definitely worth repeating.

Very characteristic place in a street in Bologna near Piazza Maggiore... the quality of the food is excellent and the staff very kind... excellent for aperitifs

We stopped to buy several portions of vacuum-packed mortadella.
The employee, very kind and scrupulous, prepared the 7 portions for us, making sure that they had an expiration date ahead of time.
While I was paying, another boy, with a definitely "higher-ranking" demeanor, began rummaging in the bag prepared for me and replaced 3 of the portions.
Once we paid and left the shop we checked and found that he had replaced 3 with others without the expiry sticker and of the 3 one actually looked much less fresh than the others.
When we returned to the shop they were replaced, but the embarrassment was evident, especially in the young employee who had reluctantly witnessed the replacement of what he had selected.
Summary: excellent products but too much "smartness".

We recommend this establishment. It immediately attracts attention with its “wall” of Parmesan. We come here every time we visit Bologna. We take the mortadella and parmesan sandwiches to take away, then we go to another magical place, right next door, where you can drink excellent wines and bring your own food.

I recently went to this shop that I had never been in before. There were many customers doing their Christmas shopping. The shop sells a varied quantity of quality cured meats and cheeses, with a notable, especially national, assortment. Prices are consistent with the level of products on sale.

It is a perfect place to sit for lunch and enjoy excellent cold cuts, parmesan or other delicacies. Accompanied by excellent homemade bread. Excellent white wine, very friendly staff. Good desserts
