Very simple monument consisting only of two stele that you can definitely notice going to Palermo from the airport on the highway. Our driver also pointed us to a small block from where the blast would be commanded. To see to remember a page of our recent history.

I put 4 dots (very satisfactory).....But what's the point of doing a review and also giving a rating? I don't review, but only, like thousands of motorists who pass by there, I remember with emotion those men barbarously murdered by the mafia.

If you proceed towards Palermo, looking up, on the right, you will find a white building with the writing "No mafia".
From here the remote control was pressed which caused the explosion.

I knew I had to pass this point on my way to Palermo from the airport.
The monument invites reflection and remembrance of those who lost their lives for the good of all.

The monument is very beautiful, we couldn't go down to see the rest but from above I noticed a lot of dirt and some broken tricolor marble slabs left there

It is not a mammoth construction or one that particularly strikes the eye but, if you pay attention to it, driving along that stretch of motorway and pausing in your thoughts on this memorial which is so representative of the history of our country, you will surely feel a shiver that begins to run down your back.

You see it passing on the motorway and it's emotional, thinking about what happened and empathizing with that moment. You can also see above the point where those who carried out the massacre were located.

Il modo migliore è arrivarci in automobile, percorrendo il tratto di autostrada che da Palermo conduce verso l'aeroporto Falcone e Borsellino e che poi prosegue per Trapani-Mazara del Vallo. La corsia di emergenza si allarga in modo da poter parcheggiare la macchina e sostare per la visita. Potete osservare il monumento di sfuggita anche se siete su un pullman di quelli che, come nel caso della linea Prestia & Comande', conducono i viaggiatori all'aeroporto. Saluti, L.

Scopro per caso che ci sono delle recensioni anche sulla stele della strage Falcone, casualmente leggo il tuo quesito ed, essendo del posto, ti rispondo. La scritta "no mafia" è sul muro di un casotto di una pompa di rilancio del servizio idrico. Vi si arriva dalla SS 113 a confine dei comuni di Capaci ed Isola delle Femmine. Accanto ad un'area di servizio, all'ingresso lato Palermo del comune di Capaci, cè una stradella che credo si chiami "passaggio dello scoiattolo". Percorrendola tutta in salita, anche in macchina, si può proseguire per un altro centinaio di metri a piedi. Io ci sono stato in occasione di una manifestazione antimafia per cui il cancello di accesso era aperto. Però non so dirti se lo è sempre. Spero di esserti stata utile.
