Me, my wife and our dog stayed for a week in the hotel Rivage Taormina. In this week we used the beach and restaurant services of Lido Playa Sole Luna.
Wonderful is the first thing that comes to you as soon as you enter the beach. Wonderful welcome from the first day both towards us and our little dog. Perfect beach service for those traveling as a couple or with a 4-legged friend. There are fenced structures with umbrellas and sunbeds, where you can let your dog free and let him enjoy the holiday too. Clean beach, beautiful sea and every comfort to enjoy a relaxing day.
Now I turn to the restaurant side of the lido and here a review is not enough to describe the perfection that is in the restaurant.
We were very well received by the maître Filippo and all his staff. The maître Filippo is a kind and professional person. He immediately entered our hearts, for the passion he puts into his work and for cuddling us from the beginning to the end of the stay. The qualified staff, prepared throughout and ready to meet your every request. They make you feel like a king and queen at the table. Perfect in everything. Thanks also go to the chef for letting us taste dishes of immense goodness. Every bite was a journey of flavors. The freshness of the products, their union and scent, made each dish a masterpiece. We tasted many different courses this week and each time it was a unique emotion. Lido playa soleluna is a machine with perfect gears. Recommendation to all this structure, be pampered by the staff, the great maître Filippo and enjoy a lunch / dinner of the highest quality.

Beautiful restaurant by the sea,
Very friendly waitress, food worthy of 5 stars and more, and Mr. Philip who is in charge of the restaurant is an exceptional person!!!

I divide the judgment into two parts, positive and negative
Positive: the lido has a nice structure, great for animals, as I had it, with lots of shower and fresh water for them, great restaurant with the maitre very kind, beautiful sea water
Negative: in the morning you should respect the timetable so at 9 you should open on time with all the umbrellas and deckchairs already open and the walkways clean; offer of the bar I would say embarrassing with very little choice and with the obvious intention of pushing towards the restaurant (the lifeguard passes and says to book for 10.30 that after there will be a bit of chaos) which of course has a certain cost (not everyone has the availability or the desire for a level lunch!), if you ask for sandwiches you will see the face of those who are in the register that annoys you instantly
Last but most important, in fact, the lack of courtesy and professionalism of the staff already mentioned in other previous reviews and confirmed by me
I repeat... what a shame

Great money value!
30 euro for 2 people, with hotel pickup in thr morning at 9AM and back at 16-17, 2 sunbeds and towels included.
The beach was quite and not crowded at all and thankfully only 2-3 ambulant sellers walking by the beach.
Nice restaurants around and bars.
Siggestion: The dropp off in the morning should be made at the same spot of the afternoon pickup (in front of the entrance, and not a cross the street to walk by and cross big street.and under the railroad.
Also, please extend the wooden deck a bit more close to the water, as the beach is with pebbles that get super hot in the sun and walking is extremely uncomfortable, even with shoes.

Lido on the seafront of Mazzeo, well organized by the average price with neighboring facilities. 35 euros two sunbeds and an umbrella, bar prices far too high, but they accept animals, bravo.

Beautiful sea, very comfortable location.
We ate very well, the restaurant is run by highly qualified staff.

Lido very comfortable and obviously beautiful location... Too bad that the staff was not at all courteous when buying sandwiches and anything else using very loud tone of voice, with a nervous and not at all kind ..

Lido has an agreement with various hotels and offers a convenient shuttle service.
The beach itself is large, with a bar that prepares sandwiches/toasts/salads and a restaurant.
You can use the swimming pool, shower, changing rooms and bathroom. There is also an area dedicated to four-legged friends.
Canoes and pedal boats can be rented at an hourly cost of €20.
Bar and restaurant prices are expensive, but in line with the classic offer of the beaches. The beach has a surface of pebbles and stones (it is better to have rock shoes even to enter the water, the latter is really clean and transparent).
Small inconvenience that happened at the bar, in my €6.50 sandwich there was a piece of plastic (the one used to close the packages) luckily I noticed in time, before ingesting it, and having mentioned it, the sandwich was remade.
Staff quite courteous, but not cheerful and smiling, as already highlighted in the reviews that precede me.
I recommend the visit

Go directly through your hotel or residency. They should be able to arrange it for you. I believe our pick up time for our hotel area was around 11 or noon.
