橫跨亞諾河上的維奇奧橋Ponte Vecchio，義大利文文義為「古老」的意思，故又名為老橋。老橋因洪水的多次破壞而於1345年重建，橋上直到目前為止仍有商店存在。橋上的店鋪最初為肉鋪，現在則多半是珠寶店和旅遊紀念品販賣店。老橋也被認為是義大利現存最古老的石造封閉拱肩圓弧拱橋。天主聖三橋與恩澤橋皆位於老橋附近。老橋也是佛羅倫斯著名的地標之一。

氣氛不錯,若是晚上來應該會更漂亮,唯一美中不足的是很多人來來往往,又靠近車道,要注意一下安全,以免為了拍照或是閃避人潮意外

這座歷史悠久的橋是佛羅倫薩的標誌性建築之一。拍照片很棒，但是其他遊客也想做同樣的事情，因此比較擁擠。走過這座橋，你會發現許多珠寶店。讓我想起了威尼斯的里亞托橋……但是這裏沒有台階可以爬!

What are the best gold jewelry shops on Ponte Vecchio or elsewhere in Florence? I have heard the ones on the bridge are most expensive than elsewhere?

Yes the shops on bridge are very expensive, generally all shops are owned by same owners , so it’s difficult to get decent prices.
Also you got to remember it’s very touristy so they going to charge you as much as they getaway with

I’m just wondering if the diamonds or gems at Ponte Vecchio are real or counterfeit? I currently have a ring on hold at one of the stores there, but since reading a few bad reviews it has made me think otherwise.

Just today we took the train from Florence to Pisa and back. Trip takes just about one hour each way. Cost 8.4 E. Very easy, anyone can do it if we did! Trains run about every 30-60 minutes.
We enjoyed walking around Pisa for 5 hours. Easy to get away from the crowds. We followed the old city wall.

We are staying in an airbnb on the Ponte Vecchio. Can a Taxi drive over the bridge to deliver us to our apartment or do we have to walk with luggage.

Ponte Vecchio is connected to adjacent street so has no steps, yes it's wheelchair accessible. However like other old town in Italy public toilet, not to mention disable toilet, are difficult to find. The only hope is the surrounding restaurant or shops.
