Love visiting breweries at home, so thought we’d try one in Reykjavik! Fun, chill vibe, friendly barkeep, loved the flights, and bought some souvenir glasses!

The owner Siggi and his sales rep Finn are top notch! Very happy that I was able to get a growler from RVK as I collect them. This one is #29! The Hlemmur IPA was amazing! Thank you for opening your doors early for my wife and I before we left back to Canada!

Nice selection of unique beers, very interesting styles. Worth trying. Staff was great, very quiet on a cold night. But gave us the full run down of the beers. Rotating selections

I love going to breweries and sampling various ales, lagers, stouts, pilsners, and you name it. I tried several brews here. I probably drank more than I should have but they were so good. And the crowd was festive and friendly.

Worth a visit especially if you’re staying at a hotel in the area. I went just as it opened for the day and it was a great place to enjoy some drinks and my book. It got super busy just as I was leaving and people got off work. The sour was my favorite out of the 3 I sampled.

As a microbrew aficionado, I was anxious to try some in Iceland. The beer here was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had gone to their other location 15 minutes earlier and told they would be closing in a few minutes but would serve us anyway. We went to the taproom and the same person showed up there - the owner/brewer. We were glad we walked the few extra blocks.

We have visited the tap room at RVK on a few occasions during our time in Reykjavik.
Here, the polite and friendly bar staff are more than willing to
provide you a tasting sample of your potential tipple, before serving you with the drink of your choice.
Its not a big place by any means, just as you would expect for a tap room . There is always a bit of background music playing, and the TV screen (mute) has various things on it should you wish to drink and view.
If theres a few of you going, pop in or call them and ask them to set aside a table for you.
The staff don't mind you having takeaways delivered for consumption as you drink. Currently open Thu/Fri/Sat

On my return to Reykjavík this was the first stop at a local brewery after I had already loved my first visit last October. The quality of brew here is maxing, they offer a full variety of styles from lager, amber, wit, sour, wild to barrel aged strong stouts. If you love craft beer, this place is a must visit. Great friendly bar staff as well.

This was a lovely little brewery. Fantastic selection of beer. The bar tender was super helpful and let us try samples before getting full pours. He sat and chatted with us about the brewery, beer and other Icelandic drinks. Very friendly and cozy, a great way to spend an evening.
