Great bar with a great vibe. Relaxed, good music, plenty of beer choices. The bartender was the best, checking in with us about our time in Reykjavik, and checking in when someone became a bit too friendly... Absolute gent and felt very safe.

Really nice selection of craft beers. Nice little spot - felt welcoming and at home just enjoying a beer here. Worth a stop, even if it's just for one.

Luckily this place was right down the street from our apartment, we came back every day on our visit. The beer is amazing, the prices are reasonable and the bartender was incredibly welcoming to the point of organizing an ad-hoc after-party when the bar closed, gifting my friend some of their merch and when I left one day without paying, the next day he just shook his head and said 'I knew you'd be back'.
He also politely asked a solo customer if he could move so there was a larger table available for our group. Amazing place.

The hospitality and ambience of this place is truly worth a 100 dollars!! Loved the selection of beers and the music too!!

The staff was great. It had a lot of choices for beers but i chose one which i didn't really like. Price was good for Iceland, maybe the cheapest. Overall I would recommend it.

Excellent example of a microbar. Lots of beer, all styles. Local. Friendly barman who chatted happily to this lone beer tourist. Cannot fault at all

Wonderful craft brews. Had a hazy NEIPA that was outstanding. Casual, welcoming vibe. Great bartender. 1-minute walk from Center Hotels Laugavegur.

Great little bar in the middle of the Main Street. Very cosy and the barman was really friendly and helped us pick some great beers. The raspberry beer with Skyr was really refreshing and tasty. Good atmosphere in here we would return.

Great bar with a great atmosphere. Had a great night sampling different beers, local liquors and whiskey.
The barman was the friendliest person we met, great knowledge of local beers and very happy to share his knowledge on Icelandic culture and the surrounding areas.
Definitely one to visit and one we will go back to on future trips.

A great little bar with more quality beers than you can shake a stick at, and friendly staff happy to let you taste before you buy. Wine and a good range of spirits too. A good mix of locals and visitors, and prices not stupid for Reykjavik. If you like Imperial Stouts and they have the Satan on then do not hesitate!

My 29 year old daughter is in Reykjavik this week by herself, as her girlfriend cancelled at the last minute. Are there any clubs, coffee houses, tours, etc. where she would feel comfortable, not knowing anyone or the area?

I have been to Iceland twice and all the tours would be safe for her as a solo traveller . People are friendly and I’m sure she will find fellow travelers helpful. Just be careful as you would anywhere else and don’t go out into the wilderness alone, stick with the crowds. Have a great time. PS the horse riding is a great experience as is Blue Lagoon. The Pearl is cheap to eat and see the whole of Reykjavík from the observation deck. Just a few of the must do’s.
