It was a long time that I wanted to take a nice horse ride and I received this beautiful and unexpected surprise. Really very pleasant experience, long and relaxing walk. Paola was attentive to the needs of each of us (some more Expert and some less) and above all was considerate and respectful of the horses that accompanied us. In fact, it was very, very hot that day, and he made sure to avoid the middle hours of the day and the gallop, so as not to stress the horses too much, and this is admirable and shows the true love for animals. Luciano took care of the organization of this experience and was also impeccable and above all helpful in preparing the surprise and making sure that it went well. Both were friendly and very nice.

My daughter, an experienced rider, went on a 3 hour trek in the late afternoon / evening with an English speaking guide, Annabelle.
In her words:
The trek was the best part of my holiday, the views were absolutely beautiful- cantering through vineyards and trekking through the Madonie mountains is not to be missed.
The horses are beautiful, well behaved and well treated, forward and safe. Luciano fetched me from Cefalu which made it easy to get there. Annabelle was a really good guide, she was very knowledgeable about the nature of the area and a good fun person to go for a ride with! 10/10 recommend, for novices and experienced riders alike.

Had an amazing hour on some beautiful horses.
The staff were very good with nervous riders.
Very protective over their horses by not riding them between 1-4 pm as to hot for them.
They did give alot of information.

I did the Etna trail. The organisation was amazing! We had a picnic each day and the table was already set when we arrived there. The food was so delicious! The horses are well behaved, gorgeous, relaxed, know where to put there feet and really fun to ride!
The guides are so friendly and are well experienced. It was very interesting to listen to their stories about the land and past trails.
I can recommend to to the trail and I am sure the other rides with them will be also awesome!

Had a wonderful ride with Belle and Paola today. Apart from one of us we were complete novices. The girls looked after us brilliantly. The horses were amazing and so well behaved. The scenery was beautiful, it was raining early this morning but by the time we set off it had cleared and we had an amazing day. Highly recommend.

This trail was so good... we rode to Etna and up. The horses are great and everyone gets the horse that suits them. ..
The 2 guides were always very friendly and explained a lot about their country. Riding was so relaxing and then lunch in between.
For me it was like being in a big family... everyone is welcome just as they are. There was a lot of laughter...
The food was absolutely amazing...

For four years now, I have chosen to spend my summers immersed in nature and this year has been an exceptional experience. A residential week that touched some of Sicily's most precious gems, thanks to Sicily Horse Tours.
Our adventure began in San'Ambrogio, where we spent an unforgettable day at the seaside, with the magical touch of a dive on horseback. It was amazing!
Next, we headed to the Alte Madonie for two days of pure mountain wonder. Despite the fog, wind, rain and cold, the experience of climbing high in the mountains was priceless. The Piano Zucchi, the Piano Battaglia, the Pizzo Carbonara and the Piano Pomo gave us breathtaking views and a deep connection with the heart of Sicily. The "Francesco Crispi" refuge was our welcoming refuge, with a dinner, a crackling fireplace and lots of laughter. The horses were true adventure companions!
In Pollina, we discovered a little gem on a hill, where there is a Manna museum. The gallops on these paths were truly unforgettable.
The visit to the Sanctuary of Gibilmanna was a special stop, with a picnic and breathtaking views that extended as far as Cefalù.
What made this experience even more amazing was the exceptional company. Sharing these adventures with Simona, a long-time riding friend, and making new acquaintances like Jasmine has been a true treasure.
I can't help but mention Luciano's team, especially Marialuisa and Paola, the McLeod Sisters! They were fantastic and made every moment unforgettable.
In short, Sicily Horse Tours offers the opportunity to experience a horseback riding adventure among the most authentic emotions of Sicily. I can only recommend this amazing and authentic experience!

I recently went on the coast to coast ride and it was an experience not to be missed. The guides were very helpful and showed us the true Sicily where no cars or even walkers can go. It was amazing to see such expanse of unspoiled countryside and ride lovely horses - forward going but well behaved and well looked after. Accommodation was rustic as expected but own en suite bathroom and delicious food and wine. I would recommend this highly.

We did the 2 hour vineyard tour and it was lovely . The horses are well cared for and our guide ‘Paola’ was very friendly. Would recommend

Buongiorno,
vorrei organizzare una passeggiata a cavallo con la mia donna. Premettendo che non siamo mai stai a cavallo (tranne per tratti bevissimi), volevo sapere ma sopratutto avere un consiglio per quale tour optare o quale sia il piu' bello, senza pero' stancarci troppo (visto sopratutto l'inesperienza). Inoltre anche sapere quali sono gli orari (se c'e' ne sono piu' di uno) e quale sia il migliore visto che il period in cui potrei andarci e' agosto (dal 19 al 21).
Grazie in anticipo per la vostra gentilissima risposta.

Buonasera,
Io ho fatto un'escursione a cavallo con Sicily Horse Tours a maggio con mia sorella: lei sa cavalcare, io prima di allora ero stata a cavallo solo una volta.
Abbiamo fatto un giro dalla durata complessiva di tre ore ai vigneti di Sant'Anastasia: due ore tranquille a cavallo, e un'ora di sosta con degustazione vini.
E' stato molto bello: la passeggiata bellissima e i cavalli tranquilli. Ve lo consiglio.
