Stunning secluded beach - but not accessible at the time of visit due to the pontoon being washed away.
Currently you need swimmers or to wade accross the creek to get to the beach - we couldn't do either so just took photos from the other side.
Viewpoint is nice and you can see whales passing by.

This beach is very beautiful and very calm. Better to visit during the week early in the morning as during the weekends it is too crowded. The is also a river and a lot of area to explore.

LifeGurd are terrible. They are absolutely worthless and have a really nasty attitude. At the beach gate, which now closes at a very early time of 9:00 a.m., the traffic controllers are also extremely harsh and have a nasty attitude.
The beach used to be much better before, but when the government has done some fixing, parking is not free.
If the gate is closed?You will need to walk one hour to the beach, that is If they let you in, . Not recommended for Family with Kids

Construction limited some access to beach and lookout, however the waterfall was flowing and was in a lovely spot. Had a good time despite rainy conditions.

Stopped off there on the way to Kiama. A little walk but ok with small kids. It was very quiet when we went with light sprinkle but a great place for a beach picnic. There is a small lagoon and the beach. Will go again.

Well! I had a good experience before i find myself being bitten by a blood sucking terrible leech. I am writing this review just to warn everyone of the potential attach of leeches in the water.

this place is a place full of surprises. we walked to find a spot to chill and fish. didn't have any luck that day but the water was beautiful. we then walked back and ended up at the beach area. there was a cliff where people were jumping off a cliff into the water. that place was fun.
people were scuba diving near the beach.

What is the best way to get here from the city center? I would like to visit it from my hotel but do not have a rental car. Thanks!

You will need transport. No public transport and get there early because if car park full not aloud to enter.

$11 per car for parking within The Royal Nayional Park. $65 for the year. If driving through or going to park in Bundeena you do not have to pay. Goes towards the upkeep of the park.
