Fitting for the patron saint of the Bohemian Region, the placement within the modern town is perfect. Placed in front of their architectural icon of a museum at the centre of Prague's New Town, the statue is a great representation of how far Czech Republic has developed as a country.

Right outside the exit from museum metro is the statue. At the top of the big shopping area in Prague. Great area to stay if you are staying in the city. I’d pick this area

Один из самых узнаваемых памятников Чехии. Установлен в 1912 году. Фигура покровителя Чехии предстает в полном боевом облачении. Его окружают фигуры святых.

This monument is very large. It’s at the top of the hill in front of the museum. It’s a guy on a horse. It’s well made. Nothing was in English so I don’t know what he did.

Wenceslas Square is probably one of the big tourist square's in Prague ,outside the wonderful National Museum is Wenceslas Monument .
Wenceslas Monument is the most famous statue in Prague,sculptured by Josef Vaclav Myslbek,this staue depicts Saint Wenceslas astride his steed ,it's a really eye catching equestrian statue ,very animated ,there are four other well detailed statues around the saint ,Saint Ludmilla,Saint Agnes Of Bohemia,Saint Prokop and Saint Adalbert Of Prague ,these amazing statues are placed on the very impressive base sculptured by Alois Dryak, the inscription translates " Saint Wenceslas ,Duke of the Czech lands,prince of ours,do not let perish us nor our descendants ",it's such a wonderful looking statue ,even at 2am in the morning as my twin brother were heading to some pubs in the Old Town people were still getting selfie photos took with this statue,it's a wonderful statue well worth checking out if you're planning to visit Prague and easy to locate on Wenceslas Square.

Our guide was able to explain the historical significance of the statue.
Up to and including the Velvet Revolution.
Inspiring.

Aan het begin van een drukke straat/ boulevard .
Veel winkels aan weerszijden, je loopt vanuit hier zo door naar de oude stad .
Nu prachtig versierd ivm kerst , veel kerststalletjes.

Located in Wenceslas square, with a nice backdrop of the National Museum. Not necessarily worth going out of your way to see, I don't think, but I'd say check it out if you're in the area. Impressive statue, no doubt.

The best are the views and the area. The museum is imponent.. and all the street is nice, with plenty people, restaurants, shops

Ik lees nu een aantal vertalingen vanuit het Engels naar het Nederlands.
Te triest gewoon die machinevertalingen.
Waarom vragen jullie in het Engels om beoordelingen om die dan zo beroerd te laten vertalen ?

Als je liever hebt dat ik in Nederlands beoordeel, zeg dat dan.
Maar niet als je het dan weer laat 'vertalen' in bedroevend steenkolen Engels.

Ben blij dat je tenminste nog 70% in het Engels overhoud.
Wat een reaktie van Tripadvisor betreft, kan het inderdaad veel beter, maar ik denk dat men daar geen Nederlandse mensen heeft, alleen anderstaligen.
Moet zelf vaak lang wachten op antwoord, indien je al een antwoord krijgt en vaak beantwoord men niet de vraag die je gesteld hebt. Ik heb ook al vaker gevraagd hoe ik direkter iets kan vragen of indienen maar het blijft moeilijk om het makkelijk te kunnen doen. In sommige gevallen kan men niet binnen 3 maanden een verandering van een beoordeeld bedrijf doorgeven, soms als je weet hoe het gaat, dan kan men een toevoeging plaatsen.
Over het gebruik van Tripadvisor niets dan goeds, het is en blijft een gemak, maar men zou wat beter op de voorstellen van mensen moeten ingaan en dan wel op een direkte manier en niet zo moeilijk, het lijkt wel Amtenarij!!
