Very nice place.!!! Can't explain the feeling. I'm just so happy that I've been there. Went to souvenir shop. I bought few bits and pieces like jumper, post cards. Etc. I didn't see the view up on the mountain because it was too cold and my knees were not that strong enough to walk that steep.. we stayed in a nice house. Forgot the location. Stayed there for 3 days

Green, lush, resplendent are words I’d use to describe this beautiful valley. Breathtaking drive in summer and there’s so much to take in - the river, the mountains, caverns, wineries….definitely a lot to explore over long drives in Virginia

We went leaf Peeping just before the peak, but we weren't disappointed. Stunning scenery! So glorious! I bet this upcoming weekend the leaves will be at their peak.

Shenandoah Valley has so much to offer. From scenery on the Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park Hiking and lakes. Water parks and local dining.

The valley is a vast expanse sprawling out from the base of the mountains. Driving Skyline drive will give you views from every angle. The autumn colors of middle and late October danced in the sunlight. Unfortunately our outdated camera phones failed to pick up the glory in its fullness.

If you are looking for fantastic views this national park has it in droves. We only drove it from end to end so I can't speak for any type of camping or the supporting facilities but it was an enjoyable trip. Don't do the white oak canyon trail unless you are up for a decent hike 2.4 miles to the upper falls vantage point and back.

Thompson Hollow trail:
Beautiful hike and lovely pools BUT: CAREFUL! PARKING is tricky! There are only about 4 parking places, all other cars need to park on the side/shoulder of the road. If you have to do that: MAKE SURE YOUR WHEELS are in the grass and DO NOT TOUCH THE ASPHALT!!! we came back after a long hike and our CAR WAS GONE! apparently every weekend 20-30 cars are being towed out! Recuperating it is no joke: either get a lift (there was no-one when we there, NO CAR left, all towed away or people ahd left by 18:30 ) hike to Bentonville (+/-3 miles) and then get a lift to the 13 miles away Front Royal to pay 262 USD to get your car back form the Tow operator. Its a totally unjustified towing, as its dead end road and no one is being blocked. I am furious and will avoid that region for ANY activity in the future. We felt ripped off and mistreated by that practice.Shame on you! you exploit hikers, people who just want to enjoy nature. How can you allow that? A sham. AGAIN: Shame on you, to exploit people who want to enjoy nature.

뉴욕, 워싱턴 쪽에서 남쪽으로 내려갈 경우 리치먼드를 지나가는 고속도로 대신 이쪽을 이용하면 끝내주는 경치를 볼 수 있습니다. 물론 시간은 더 걸리지만 버지니아 산지, 애팔래치아의 절경을 감상하며 셰넌도어 계곡의 진수를 만끽할 수 있습니다.
