Definitely give this bar a 5/5. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The infused tea cocktail was wonderful. The manager introduced himself (Doug) and made sure we were comfortable.

They specialize in "bartender's choice" - they ask you some questions about what you like, then mix you a drink. They batted a thousand for us! We had four cocktails between us, each more delicious than the last.

Nice atmosphere, chic interior. Not too busy during the week. I liked the River Fix which had a nice spicy kick to it and baiju which was unique. The service was a bit slow, we were there for awhile before being served. The food was underwhelming, the cheese board was pretty basic and the cheese pizza was ok.

Great cocktails and friendly service. My friend and I sat outside and the server made sure to check on us regularly. We went on a Sunday and they had a nice Jamaican pop up with rum based drinks. Will go back

I visited DC about a week ago and I was told that this is the best place for a cocktail in DC. And I was told correctly, I had the best time with the best cocktails and I can’t wait to be back.

Had an 8pm reservation on Friday for an inside, cozy two seater. When we got there we got just that...for like 5 minutes. Then the waiter comes up to us and tells us we need to move because where he sat is reserved for another party. Okay, without any hesitation we go upstairs and he takes our order. From the upstairs seating we can see the downstairs and our old seats we were made to move from. The seats are still empty over 30 minutes later and it's not even crowded. Out of curiosity we ask our waiter how we can reserve a special seating area, and he checks his machine to see how the pretend reservation locked it in. He never told us and after 30 minutes, seeing as our old seats were still empty he offered to move us back downstairs and we agreed since the seats were more comfortable. Well, the customer service was awful after that. Very slow and inattentive. The older white guy who works behind the bar named Doug thought the white couple who was sitting next to us were more important to check up on than us, two black women. We noticed how he would ask the white couple if they needed anything and how it was going while he walked right passed us without asking us the same questions. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN! They will make you move out of your seat once they seat you and they will treat you as if you're not a paying customer since Doug seems to think white customers deserve more respect than black customers. Terrible customer service and they still automatically charge you a 20% tip due to covid. At least the drinks are good. Not good enough to come back to this racist place.

Drinks were great but service did not match our expectations. Difficulty getting attention from the wait staff, received startlingly brusque responses when we asked questions, and had trouble getting our check when we wanted to leave. Ended up going to a place around the corner where we could ensure better experience and ambiance.

This was our second time here. Our first time we just stumbled across it and really enjoyed it. This time was just as food. The bartenders choice was amazing. He came over and asked what type of liquor I like and what flavors I like and made an amazing cocktail. We will def be back here next time we visit the city!

My friends and I were in town for a conference. Exhausted from a long day we wanted a nice place close to our hotel to sit and chat. This place is the most quaint adorable bar I've ever seen. I felt like Carrie Bradshaw. I'll definitely be back next time.

Wow. From the moment you walk in, the place feels special! Cool vibes, Nice ambiance and the staff could not have been better. I am impressed. This is a classy joint. Great place to make an impression. It took me 3 attempts but I finally got in! It's usually pretty busy with limited seating. Definitely worth the wait. Outstanding! I would highly recommend.
