“朝鮮援建的博物館，從建築到展覽濃濃的朝鮮風”
很大的樓，但是很小的展覽，展示了納米比亞獨立鬥爭和建國后的一些史實。不過由於是朝鮮援建的，所以一股還未改革開放的社會主義風格，那些宣傳畫，完全就是文革的感覺。

Lots of interesting photos and items, but no real story to follow to tell you how everything pieces together. Read up on Wikipedia first and then it’ll make more sense. Views from the top were great.

É um prédio enorme... fiquei curioso porque o guia disse que é um momento que celebra a libertação do povo, e foi um presente pago pela Coreia do Norte. A visitação é gratuita, tudo bem simples, mas que fala muito da história do povo.

Worth the effort

Worth a visit as it contains over 3 floors the history of Namibia. The building is very modern and worth a visit on its own. Very quiet when we visited and it’s free!
The 4th floor has a restaurant/ cafe for a nice drink whilst the balconies give a great view out over Windhoek.

good insight of recent history of Namibia

Exhibition a little bit old fashioned, but worth a visit to get a clear view on the colonization and independance of the state of Namibia (take an hour to one hour and a half). One of the highlights of Windhoek

Intressant museum till Namibias väg till självständighet. Det finns ett rikt bildmaterial, men dessvärre nästan inga texter som förklarar sammanhanget. Därför blir helhetsintrycket lite rörigt.

I would recommend that everyone take time to visit this museum.

It was our first trip to Namibia. This museum is very well done. Very informative for those who don't know the history of this young country.

A bit odd but worth a visit

While there is a lot of socialist kitsch, minor errors in the descriptions and an odd way of curating the lot it was still very informative.
Naturally the view is one-sided, concentrating on SWAPO and the role it plaid for independence.
Still worth a visit if you are interested in the history of a very interesting country!

Very interesting. Worth visiting to get a revision of Namibia's history.

A good collection of photos and material evidence from the independence struggle. The part on the colonial era could be completed to tell more about the everyday life of people.
