This museum, although small, is full of Niue culture and artifacts. It's a wonderful place to visit to understand a bit of the culture. An additional plus- the flooring is a work of art.

This museum complex is still under construction don't let that put you off. You are asked to remove your shoes then enter the museum. Brilliant presentation, albeit small at this stage but very interesting and informative. Take time to learn the sad story of the young men of Niue who were sent to WW1,

Build a year ago by NZ big building construction company. A good place to visit to learn about Niue artifacts, cultural and history preserved. It's a big building up to date design.

Please take the time to visit the museum. They have only exhibits since the cyclone but it will grow in size and stature. Lovely local helpful guide

Well done , very new building - obviously their pride and joy - only one room so doesnt take long. Some pre-war history would have been good

We visited a day or so before they moved to their new premises nearer the CBD. It's an interesting museum, which is still rebuilding its collections since Cyclone Heta. Visiting is worth it just to support the museum initiative on Niue, but the collections and small library could absorb anywhere from 30min to a few hours and are great context for what you see around the island.

The museum is small, but the information is good, especially about the wildlife on Niue and the local weaving and art. A bit pricy tho with 10 dollars a head.

Worth a visit to the museum. They have shifted from the original site as it got destroyed during the cyclone. People are donating goods and they have items that were salvaged. The young guy running it was great to talk with and they have some interesting books as well as artifacts.
