top place ,great to sit and watch the sea,mobys restaurant is not far and many other things to see,and shops etc. Do yourself a favour and visit here.

街中から観光名所のクリストレイへ行こうと思った時に、クリストレイ行の12番へ乗り換える必要がありますが、ここでの乗り換えが便利でしょう。

Jardim à beira margem Dili, frente ao Palácio do governo. Local ideal para uma caminhada matinal, jogging, ou passeio depois do jantar. Por vezes o local está mal iluminado, mas parece um local seguro, até porque muito frequentado a qualquer hora.

I guess it's a good place to just relax, on a concrete bench, if you can find one. It's only slightly depressing. As mentioned by another reviewer I wouldn't go there at night.

Cheap street food sold under shady trees. Highly recommend the $1 coconuts - no better way to refresh on a hot afternoon. Watch young fellas play soccer in the late afternoon down at the eastern end.

This popular public waterfront area basically extends from the east side of the port in front of the Palacio de Governo (although there is also a popular park on the west side of the port) about one kilometre east to the next river. The centre of Largo de Lecidere is the part with the wavy shelters in front of a park. These shelters have free wifi but it's very slow and usually clogged with people sitting around trying to use it. Further east is partially blocked by the horrid Novo Turismo restaurant and then there is a market (avoid the fish, you never know how many days they've been there) but also has the great City Praia restaurant (for other restaurants, you generally have to go a block or two inland, e.g., along Rua Belarmino Lobo).
All of the waterfront, but particularly the central Largo de Lecidere area, is busy every afternoon and evenings with locals hanging around and it is a great place to watch the action and enjoy the views to Atauro. It's generally safe after dark but solo women may suffer serious harassment. There are snack carts (usually including beer) but check that their drinks are cold before buying one.
If there's any sort of event here or at the Palacio, like a concert or market or kids' activities, definitely stop by as they always get a lot of local and expat families coming out to party.

This is the place where locals meet. This is the place where young people hang out, this is the place where locals have their tiny shops, often no more than a bamboo mat with some items on it, and this is the place where people meet at night for a barbecue or a drink at night.
Apart from that, it makes for some great views over the bay. It has a well-maintained footpath that goes on for several kilometers. And honestly, this is also one of the few things to see and do in Dili: there aren't many touristic things here.
