We did a 3 day/2 nights trip with car and driver to Baucau and Mt Ramelau. Vilter, our driver, spoke English well and is a great driver / guide. He is helpful and drives well in difficult 6 Also the 4WD car was in good condition. Price was reasonable as well. Recommended.

Overall, we were satisfied with the tour. The vehicles and guesthouse were comfortable, and the service at the guesthouse was welcoming. The meals featured local ingredients, and the attractions gave us good insights into Timorese culture. The tour guides were responsive and handled any issues promptly.
To further improve the experience:
- Providing more detailed briefings before each activity would deepen our understanding of what’s involved.
- For some activities, offering guidance on the difficulty level and physical fitness required would be helpful.

The price was reasonable. The view were super, from Pousada Maubisse and Flecha. The tour guide were friendly. Thank you and hope do the trip again but with my friends.

We did the Highlands tour with our 4 kids (ages 2-10) and truly loved it. An incredible combination of stunning views and fun family adventure. We hiked, picnic'd, and explored all morning with some great pit stops along the way. Highly recommend and our favorite Timor day trip.

Great service and transportation available. Our tour guide Roberto is very passionate in his job and shared alot about Timor-Leste. He was very attentive and patient with my 50+ year old parents. We felt safe and enjoyed the scenic route to Aileu, Maubesi and Dokomali waterfalls. All in all it was great value for money. The services provided matched the price given. Will definitely book with Island Explorer Holidays for future trips in Timor.
