Love the new location fronting Brent School. Homey atmosphere, heck, I can spend hours browsing here. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, too.

If you are looking for a bookshop that offers the works of home grown writers and features the history and literature in the point of view of the oppressed and not the point of view of the victors, Mt. Cloud is the exact location you need to be.
This bookshop also organizes book launch for local authors and a place of reading activities for local poets and artists.

I had a hard time finding this shop. Initially followed the map but ended up asking around as I just couldnt find it. Good thing they were open til 8pm which allowed me a few more minutes to look around.
The shop was cozy and small, and I appreciated that they sold local books. They have a bit of international authors too.
I wish I could have had more time to go thru the books.

I love this store. There are many local authors with old folktales that is sold here. I bought a book as souvenirs an some really unique and special postcard. Luckily they accept credit card as I was running out of cash. The lady who was attending the shop is very friendly and very helpful too.

Location: Casa Vallejo Bldg, DPS Compound Access Road.
the street just below SM's access road. We had a hard time looking for this place as we asked the locals and were clueless of its existence. Even some of the cab drivers were not familiar with it. We just happen to pass by the road on one of our trips.
What to find: Books with Filipino author/s
Price: fairly priced
The shop is nice for photo ops and some books are great for browsing. We bought Lola Bashiang book for our daughter. if ever you would visit here, please buy something to show support. not just take pics and then leave. Great for unwinding after hours of wandering in the city.

Quite a lot of UP Imprint books. Had rather hoped for more range of Philippines surveys, but the selection of academic titles is quite good and there are gems here. The best thing about Mt. Cloud is that it's a proper independent bookshop,

ウッドを使ったロッジのような内装のおしゃれな本屋さんで、とても雰囲気があり落ち着きます。そんなに大きなお店じゃないですが、のんびり本を立ち読みしているとあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいました！ゆっくり時間を過ごしたい方にはおすすめです！

We went there and the place is just heaven! The crew were so nice and the place is just so good. It is full of local books and even though the place is quite small roaming around it is just so good. The second floor is smaller but any book lover can managed, for the love of book of course! They also have stationary island and they host poetry reading (there will be on July 27, 2016).
