Every now and again a good hotel experience escalates rapidly to excellent with great customer service. This was exemplified by Channa who tirelessly ensured we were looked after at every breakfast. A callout as well to the reception staff!

Eerie at its finest. Unfortunately, we arrived during the restoration(?) period, so no one are allowed to enter the hotel building premises. The place have this haunting vibe even at midday.

If you look outside the old diplomatic hotel, it is clearly an abandoned building. Open windows with a view into the hotel. According to many, there are other elements within the structure. There is nothing unusual about my visit there. In fact, the view from the outside is amazing. Feel free to explore the nature park behind the abandoned hotel. The view, trees, and air are pleasant and very relaxing. Shooting with nature is extraordinary.

Old Diplomat Hotel Baguio City is famous for its haunted stories and is a historical landmark that is a must visit when you're around Baguio. This place has a colorful history and a tragic story. You can still picture the beauty of this place despite of its current condition. When you go to its second floor, there's a creepy vibes. Imagine, as you walk in the ruins there is a cold breeze of air and suddenly at one point, it turned so hot. So yeah, maybe the stories are true. That's why this place is famous for paranormal exploration but its not allowed to stay here beyond 5PM.

visited the location for a paranormal show and was in the building alone after midnight. the public should not be allowed to return inside and after two incidents they finally stopped. our devices caught very chilling and warnings actually in several areas of the building. direct response and even a full body apparition on camera. security left me after i was pushed on the upper floor. quite and peaceful interpretation doesn’t mean there’s nothing there as some have suggested, it’s actually common to lure the venerable to attach or oppress. i don’t recommend without protection and blessing once you leave.

I really love this place especially if you're the person who loves extraordinary or extreme places, because this place is very historical that attracts many people.

When i visited diplomat hotel it is really nice there. There are a lot of room that you can explore and also at the rooftop it is good for some pictures if you want to visit there. So far I have not encountered suspicious ghost as they say in there stories. Also at the bask there is also a garden there full of flower and it is also a good place to take pictures as well.

If you're looking for a scary review this is not it. Nothing special happened when were there but the view from the rooftop is amazing. While going through the corridors may give you chills, a feeling that someone is looking at you from afar, fear not as they're just tourists, the hotel is open for everyone to explore from Ground Floor to the Top Floor/Roofdeck.

If you are in Baguio City, then you should definitely visit this old abandoned hotel as part of your itinerary. I did not find the place creepy at all, probably because there are many other travelers visiting the place as well, but besides that it was an interesting experience to walk in this old abandoned hotel and take some photos. Near the hotel there is a small park where you can sit as well.
If you are someone who likes walking long distances, then you can walk from Baguio City to Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto and then to Diplomat Hotel.

Last 2017 I go there. 8am to 5pm and no entrance fee. Dont go to late because its too scary and much better if you there early. You can take some pictures and see if there is ghost. just kidding :)
