We watched both shows, but without a doubt the Nativitaten is a super show.
Show with fireworks, special effects, actors, singers... all perfect. Interacting with the audience is too exciting. I just thought it could be better the exit from the show, difficult transportation to the nonlocals.
The Christmas Light parade is more playful, for children it is very good because the characters interact a lot with them.
For both I recommend arriving well in advance to get a good view. Both with a salty price, however the Nativitaten is unavoidable.

I attended the two shows, the grand parade and the nativitaten. They're very good. Excellent production, beautiful and cozy. But wanted to value even more the nativitaten, with a brave theme manages to enchant and excite. The artists are too much and bring the audience the interaction and emotion throughout the show.

We went to the Nativitaten, which has a little of everything, music, dance, fireworks and other surprises. The shows are really beautiful and exciting. In addition to the main stage, it also has five smaller stages around it, in which opera singers perform singing Christmas classics. We paid R$ 217,00 on the half entrance, but the whole doesn't get to double the fact. The price is a little salty, but very well worth it. I recommend coming early to get a good seat in the selected sector. We didn't get to see the parade because the day we were going to rain, but it's possible to see it without paying anything extra so if you get to the place early. In this way, if I had to choose between the events, I would pay the Nativitaten and try to see the street parade itself. In addition, the decoration of the city is also sensational.

The big Christmas parade is a big mess. They sell more tickets, people crowd up, the kids, even paying to sit in the chairs, see nothing.
There are no archibancadas. The people sit in chairs all chicken on the street.
The girl who took care of sector F was being super rude with people. A horror show.
Don’t waste your time and money with this pity!!!

A year ago I planned my trip to Gramado to experience Christmas light. The trip partly had a dream of returning to the city where I had a great experience in my childhood and presenting my 12-year-old daughter with her Christmas magic. I planned the lodging dates to have the possibility of 2 options from the Christmas parade in the event of failing in some. Well, with the heavy rain, the first option of Sunday failed, my alternative was to watch the parade of Wednesday, torching for the good weather. The good time has come and we are prepared. Knowing of the crowd that would come to watch the parade at s 20h, we arrived early at av das Hortensias, 19:15, looking for a good place. We found a good space near the grids and my daughter was already ready with camera in hand and anxious. Around 19:55 an employee of the organization passes by and when questioned by the audience, informs that the parade would not take place in that region!!!!!! That without any indication or signaling of where the end of the parade would be, me and hundreds, hundreds of people stayed like clowns in those grades where only the cars of the parade would be kept. Result: it was impossible at the time to find another place and we missed the parade. A year preparing for the trip, a fortune with the overpriced expenses with the holes of this colono-chique-brega tourism and we returned me and my daughter frustrated without seeing the damn parade! Grass, never again! And I will not recommend the visit, in Brazil itself we have numerous options of better return. The city needs to evolve and much to be a serious tourism. For now, lack of respect and abuse remains!

I admit we were disappointed.
Expensive entry. Very complicated place for transport by app (many disorganization).
And mostly, it looked like an international musical show. The songs are almost all in English. He did not value the birth of Jesus and the spirit of Christmas.
Lots of fireworks, lots of lights, lots of music and little emotion.
A child who was behind me asked:
"Does Santa have a girlfriend? "

I've watched the show a few times when it was at Lago Joaquina Rita Bier, now UNFORTUNATELY it's moved to Serra Park, where there IS a lake, but the water show that used to exist at the other location no longer exists.
The opera is beautiful, all the singers in the water are great.
The show starts off very strange, it says it talks about the beginning of the world, and the birth of Jesus, but the rhythmists enter, all dressed in black, hooded, with a bad face and playing drums, then the choir enters wearing dark red robes with pointy caps. and flashlights but hands, all lit up with red lights, giving a TERRIBLE feeling. I expected an exciting show, like other years.
It seemed like something from the occult, really.
Then he finally spoke about Jesus, it was beautiful.
Soon after SANTA CLAUS, dancers with mini skirts, dances like the movie Mean Girls, tik tok, cancan, choreography and look very dancer like Faustão's Sunday.
Then a singer who sings really well, but was already very upset with the show.
Ending with the lighting of the candles and the traditional happy night.
Tickets were 300 reais each, beer was 20 reais, soda was 10. Parking was 40 reais on the ground and in the dark.
With pain in my heart, today I say that I don't recommend it. It was my favorite show.

We had a wonderful opportunity to watch Nativitaten in December. The show's flaw is the duration, just 1 hour, it could have been 1h30 :D everything is very charming and perfect. Regarding the place, accessibility is not a strong point, I took the Prata sector with my mother, it turns out that she is elderly and has a lung problem, which makes it difficult to walk for a long time. When I identified the place where the entrance to our gate was, I was very apprehensive and so was she, it was very far and with uneven terrain, with ups and downs. (For her, climbing is very complicated). I looked for help from the staff, a guy who wasn't very attentive, but at least he quickly said that I could ask for a wheelchair. We accepted the help and after a few minutes Firefighter Diego arrived, a super nice and friendly guy. He took my mother and I to our section without any problems. I found the entrance confusing and when it came to validating our ticket, I had the impression that they didn't validate the QR code, I found that part a bit messy, but that's a matter of your organization and control. After finishing the show, which was incredible, on the recommendation of the firefighter, I asked for help on the way back, this time to a firefighter who was close to our sector. Also a super proactive and friendly, careful girl, Rosa, guys, what an incredible human being. He took my mother to the entrance of the Ubers, a care and zeal, which if I can highlight and especially thank these two firefighters, they made my mother's ride incredible :D A single point, the theme was the birth of Jesus, but Throughout the show I thought this essence was lost a little, with the focus at the end on Santa Claus and Mariah Carey etc... and when they introduced the artists, they even introduced Santa Claus, everyone else, but who played Maria and José ? They didn't speak (were they the same actors as Santa Claus? ) And look guys, Mary and Joseph made me cry, my mother and the girl who was next to us and we didn't even know. It was beautiful! It was the most beautiful part without a doubt. So, a special congratulations to them. Finally, the night was beautiful, without rain and it wasn't cold either, but there is a covered part, I believe that if it had rained little, it would have been enough, but heavy rain is not possible.

Olá, alguém saberia dizer se o show Illumination deste ano (2020/2021) será diferente do ano passado (2019/2020)? Li alguns artigos de que reformularam as arquibancadas, músicas, fogos, etc. Vi o vídeo completo do show de 2019/2020 e não me animei muito (meio parado).

Dá para ficar em qualquer lugar. Se tiver criança junto, aconselho ficar nas fileiras mais baixas, por causa da possível interação com os artistas. Se não tiver crianças, o campo de visão das mais altas é melhor para a apreciação do espetáculo.

Olá, qual o melhor local para assistir ao espetáculo Illumination? Sem ferragens na frente nem água molhando?
arquibancada ou cadeira? Qual setor (A, B, C...)? Li que as cadeiras ficam numa altura baixa, que atrapalha a visibilidade, isso procede?
Desde já, agradeço a atenção.

Como eu disse em minha avaliação, acabei assistindo ao show da arquibancada B, que é muito próxima à arquibancada A. Elas são um pouco mais próximas do palco, mas não muito. De qualquer arquibancada vai se ver o palco de longe, me pareceu pequeno e não projetado para visão de longe. Dá pra ver alguma coisa do palco com os telões. Desconfio que as melhores arquibancadas são as mais baratas, a D e a E, R$ 85,00 a meia. Existe um local especial, gratuito, para pessoas com mais de 70 ou 80 anos, precisa procurar.
