This is a small business, utilizing traditional manual looms (5) with a separate shop where the materials are sewn into items and sold. Great to see cloth being woven. It is a fascinating experience to watch the craftsmanship of the weavers.

Sagada Weaving is a must-visit! From watching the intricate weaving process to finding the perfect souvenir, the experience was unforgettable. The items are beautifully crafted and worth every peso (having seen how hard it is to finish one piece), reflecting the town’s rich culture. Highly recommend this stop for anyone visiting Sagada, nothing much here but it's not everyday that I get to see upclose how these kinds of art are created!

We were dropped by our tour guide here to check some souvenirs. The magnets are nice and other products of weaving. Outside the place they have a dog where you can take pictures and give tip

Il van si è fermato a questo negozio, come previsto nel programma.
E' un negozio di souvenir di queste montagne, con alcuni telai manuali dove vengono confezionati tessuti colorati con la tecnica tradizionale.
Nel negozio ci sono delle scritte che chiedono di non fare foto, e la visita perde perciò di interesse.
Gli amici filippini guardano i prezzi e li trovano alti ... Non ci fermiamo oltre.

This is just a souvenir store. Nothing more. It is within walking distance of the centre of sagada. It sells handcrafts including traditional weaved products. You can see the women weaving some of the crafts in the back of the store, but you are forbidden to take photos. The experience certainly isn't immersive. It is definitely not a 'must do'. I am surprised it is in the 'things to do' section. It should be in shopping.

Taking video or pictures are not allowed
At store you can choose differents souviner
But I didn't buy some souviners because it's not on my list while exploring

Very nice place, the temperature is very good..the weaving is amazing, weavers are very focus and hardworking..

And you can't even take pictures of the women actually doing the weaving! What's the use of going there if you're only required to buy something from the place? And the stuff they were selling were available at other stores at lower prices.
I was really excited to visit this place because I love traditional weaving - the art is vanishing fast as the younger generation has absolutely no interest at it. I was expecting a short demo, maybe a short hands on trial so visitors can appreciate how hard and complicated the weaving is, and picture taking of course.
So was really disappointed to find out that none of my expectations were going to come true. And I've traveled hours just to get to the place!
The owners of the place just want sales - and majority of the goods were not even made of Sagada weaving - key chains, ref magnets, tshirts - and way overpriced! Tried asking one of the weavers something about the art, but she motioned me to a man at the counter (the owner, I assumed) that they were not allowed to speak unless permitted by the owner. Wow!
Why call this Sagada Weaving at all? Just Sagada Store will do. Were we out of there fast! And not coming back - ever!

Although the weaving is very impressive the place itself is actually very small and rather plain. In the future more and more tourists will most likely visit so it would be wise for them to renovate it or create a larger room for viewing since no pics are allowed. Also, a lot of shops in Sagada sell these woven items but most of them are not displayed properly causing them to look worn out in time. I hope they will be handled with care to make them more appealing and attract more buyers.

The prices are worth paying for authentic Sagada way of weaving! Advisable to wear hand gloves, and hoodie, too way cold.
