Anyone visiting Bisbee, AZ should walk around the outside and gander at the artifacts and historical plaque information. Step into this building and you learn so much about mining, the life of the miners, the ups and downs of mining in those days, and the history of Bisbee then and now. Admission is a donation, please be thoughtful.
The folks working there are volunteers.
Several rooms for you to visit through and a cute gift shop to boot.
(No tax at the gift shop, they are a Non-Profit organization.)

A very good representation of the history of mining as well as specimens found while mining. It also showcases modern day mining as opposed to methods used long ago. It also depicts the people and town of Bisbee during the height of the mining era. Bonus: tax free gift shop

This museum was only mildly interesting to me, but I was glad we went. It happened to be right in front of our hotel and we had some time to burn, so we decided to stop in and learn more about the history of Bisbee and its mining history.

Very interesting museum housed in the old company head quarters. Friendly, informative volunteers. Good collection of local history, mining stories and memorabilia.

A small, but informative and interesting museum that is a local affiliate of the Smithsonian. Lots of information about Bisbee during its copper mining heyday. DON'T SKIP THE 2nd FLOOR! it's a beautiful mineralogical display of the variety of ores from the mines around Bisbee.

A must-see in Bisbee - this Smithsonian affiliated mining museum is well worth the time & nominal cost. Lots of exhibits on two floors to look at & old mining cars outside.

The museum is located in the city center with nearby carpark. The people who set up the exhibition did a great job, it’s all very good explained how it was started and closed down. I have enjoyed it very much.

This museum is definitely worth a visit! It has interesting displays on life in the western settlements and, of course, the mines. The collection has items we have not seen anywhere else. Everything is presented creatively.
