The Visitor center is run by nice lady. Sadly there is very little honest or truthful here. A corrupt town great for drug smuggling and crooked cops. Lots of money from agriculture.(means drug smuggling on a massive scale) the cartel means that Douglas gas the best cops that money can buy. Would like to sell two houses and get the hell out. Oh and Poor Medical care. Nothing good here. Move on.

Stopped as soon as we got to town. Pretty helpful. Plenty of parking. Restrooms available. Just an average visitor center.

This facility is mainly a source for local advertising. To get the local town brochure the clerk had to copy the last remaining copy.

We learned about the beautiful hotel lobby to visit in town. The center is only 16 blocks from the Mexico border. Be sure to bring your passport or Global Entry card in case you want to go there. It's a mini-adventure.

Im sure the visitor center is a nice place but Douglas I found nothing special. What is the first thing that greets you coming into the United States from Mexico???? WALMART AND AND FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS.

I intended to stay in Bisbee, but drove through Bisbee and thought Nahhhh and kept going to Douglas. The visitor center absolutely reeled me in. Everything she recommended was spot on. Most spectacularly was an intro to Keoki Skinner, guide extraordinaire to Agua Pietra. On elf the best guides I've ever had. He has no website. Ask at the visitors center. Best food: Mana right next to the Travellers Motel. Not to be missed: Gadsden Hotel lobby at happy hour. Ranchers in their cowboy hats, locals with stories. The place to get the real scuttlebutt.

Stopped by to pick up brochures on the local area and was greeted at the door by the manager. Went in and they explained the area, what was good to see, and what was best. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area.
