“Beautiful facility”

西雅圖的中心是一個很棒的地方就帶小孩子去了一個近距離的機會看這些華麗的生物。這裏地面非常乾淨而且佈置的很好。大部分都是受傷的小鳥復興的進程並顯示在教育和環保用途。還有很多照片和學習的機會。

vacation

we stopped by the auduborn center and we enjoyed it, it was nice to see the different birds up close. we enjoyed the stroll thru the park. there is also a building to watch the company working on the birds, staff are very frienldy and have lots of info on all the birds. was easy to find and plenty of parking. also has bathrooms . you can walk thru at your own pace.

A relaxing alternative to noisy zoos

A nice alternative to commercialized/theme park-formatted zoos. At the Audubon center, you get to see several amazing birds as they're en route to recovery. While very young children may not fully grasp the purpose of the park, they should enjoy seeing bald eagles up close.Give yourself a good hour or two to sit and watch the birds.

Easily accessible, nice way to spend a couple hours

LOVE this place! Get to see beautiful birds of prey up close. Staff are very knowledgable and friendly. Easily walkable, beautiful lake overlook. They rescue, treat and rehab these amazing creatures. How cool that they share these birds with us?

Enjoyable Visit!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Audubon Center. Saw many hawks, eagles, and other predatory birds and enjoyed an informative video at the end. This is an interesting place to see and the work they do is important. I highly recommend a visit.

Hidden Gem in Maitland

We are so fortunate to have the Birds of Prey center right in Maitland, FL. Tours are available & wonderful sitting areas overlooking beautiful Lake Syvelia. Many of the resident birds are able to be rehabilitated & returned to the wild ie eagles, hawks, kytes, owls & other birds of prey but some are never able to be returned so they become permanent residents. You'll want to visit or ask for a special "Behind the Scenes" tour.

Beautiful Birds

Looking for something to do in the Orlando area that has nothing to do with parks? We stopped in at this center for birds of prey and found it fascinating. You can get fairly close to a bald eagle and other larger birds. They were all quite vocal so it was interesting to hear the different calls they made. The staff was friendly and eager to educate you .

Medical Recovery and Long Term Care for North American Birds

The Center has many hawks, bald eagles, owls, vultures and falcons in various states of recovery from injuries both natural and man-made. The flying birds are kept in large pens that mimic their environment and allow for viewing by visitors. Those more seriously injured are individually tethered in a group area allowing them some outdoor time during the day. The most seriously injured or young are in the infirmary which has viewing windows. The staff is caring, dedicated and very knowledgeable. Definitely worth an hour if you want an upclose experience with birds of the wild.

Birds 🦅🦉 of Prey!

單獨旅行

Amazing staff providing rehabilitation for injured birds 🦅 🦉 of prey as well as a permanent home for those can’t be released to the wild. The center is well laid out with an extensive aviary area. You can see the birds up close and learn about them. While there staff members were handling the some of the birds outside of their housing which allowed great photos. The center does great work in protecting and caring for the birds. Definitely give them a visit if your in the Orlando area.

Close-up view of birds

Thanks to volunteers holding a screech owl and barred owl, we were able to see them up close. Another volunteer who feeds walked with us and gave us a personal account of each bird in the enclosures.

A Moving and Educational Experience for Bird Lovers

A visit to this sanctuary for injured birds was recommended to us by someone with a deep interest in birds of prey. We were amazed at the variety of birds being treated here including bald eagles, ospreys, kestrels, owls, and hawks for injuries caused by other animals, by vehicles, or other unfortunate events. Some may be released after treatment, but many will not. Talk to the knowledgeable staff members that are available around the Center and do not miss the short video in the house which will definitely give you an appreciation for the amount of effort it takes to care for these beautiful species.
