We enjoyed Calle Crisologo and found the old homes and buildings to be more interesting than expected. Most of the buildings are authentically old; although many have benn renovated, they have generally been done in appropriate style consistent with the Spanish colonial period. We found the shops to generally be disappointing, with few souvenirs of interest. To fully appreciate Calle Crisologo, we recommend to stroll the full length in the daytime, at night (when nicely lighted), and especially early morning just after sunrise when your likely to have the street to yourself for great photos!

What truly makes Calle Crisologo special is the warm, inviting atmosphere. The friendly locals are eager to share their stories and recommendations, adding a personal touch to your visit. Evening strolls are especially magical, as the street lights illuminate the historic buildings, creating a romantic ambiance.

Our family had a great time in Vigan and Calle Crisologo was so beautiful and historical I should say. Bringing you back to the old days which is so magnificent. Love Vigan and planning to back next year.

Amazing view especially at 4am the avoid the crowd. Try 1995 studio cafe and ride a kalesa for a tour costs at 200php

You should visit Calle Crisologo at night, kasi you get to appreciate it while walking dahil hindi na ganon ka init! 😀 and pwede ka pang mamili sa souvenir shops ng mga anik anik Haha 😆

Απο τους πλέον γραφικούς δρόμους, σου θυμίζει παλιά Ισπανικά σοκάκια. Γεμάτο δεξιά και αριστερα με μαγαζιά τουριστικών μπορείτε να αγοράσετε οτι αναμνηστικό μπορείτε να φανταστείτε. Ιδιαίτερη γραφικότητα δίνουν τα παραδοσιακά αμαξάκια με τα άλογα που κυκλοφορούν στον δρόμο, ψάχνοντας πελάτη για μια βόλτα στα γύρω επίσης γραφικά δρομάκια.

Beutiful city Day and Night.
I always wanted to visit Vigan but don’t have enough time to travel that far while Im on vacation in the Philippines.
From Pampanga to Vigan it is 7-8hrs drive via Tplex, its a nice drive along the way we have seen mountains and ocean of La union and Ilocos sur. Wethear is perfect! Plenty of Cafe and restaurants , souvenirs, well known pasalubong Vigan sausage and bagnet. The street is busy with local tourist, we stayed 2 nights in airbnb Jelljoh Pension House hosted by Digna best place to stay next to Baluarte zoo 7mns drive from the beach. We walk around Vigan City day and night time to see the beauty of Vigan.

I leave here a comment about Vigan as a whole.
Honestly speaking I wouldn't recommend you to come there more than half a day, this would be a complete waste of time.
Things to see there:
- calle Crisoloco is okay. it's mostly cheap gifts shops and old buildings (to be fair they are pretty). Shouldn't take you more than 20-30 minutes to walk it back and forth.
There is also the central place square shaped which is really nothing special. The old church in the center (the archbishop palace) is not much either...
If you are used to visit cities with proper cultural heritage be ready to be veeeery disappointed!
Regarding the food... The local longanisa are actually very nice. Instead of being sweet they're garlicky which is lovely. The empanadas are greecy and oily, really not my taste :(.
To summarize, don't waste your time with Vigan unless it's a halt on your way to somewhere else (which will likely be North). No need more than half a day to cover the whole thing (more likely 2 hours is enough).

Just walking along Calle Crisologo makes one marvel at our historic past. The fact that this old city existed with these buildings means that it was a prosperous area in its heyday. The texture of the road and walls feel very authentic, and its old grandeur can be felt in the architecture of the area. The cold, chilly weather of December definitely added to the ambiance.

hi Jasmin! in our case, I went there with my extended family ( 12 pax) and my child's nanny. We booked thru an agency and paid 28k for a 3 days 2 nights trip which includes hotel and transport with a driver. the trio covered pagudpod, Laoag,vigan,ilocos and other places along the way.

ビガンについて、古都の様子はわかりました。海の様子が分かりません、ビーチや孤島などの観光が知りたいです。
また、交通の便が悪い見たい、交通の手段は何が良いか知りたいです。

海の様子は行っていないのでわかりませんが町からは近いです。歩いても行けると思いますが町中でマリンスポーツの店が会ったわけでも孤島の案内らしいものもなかったと思います。後ビガンまでは確かに不便です。他にどこかに行かれてから、とか金銭的か時間かどちらを優先とかにもよりますがビガンは今は飛行機がないのでマニラからラワグに行きそこからバスで約2時間ちょっと、て感じです。お役にたてずにすいません。
