The employee Phillip with the handlebar mustache needs to learn some people skills. If I was you, take your business to The Pass Casino. They are more personable, have a more positive demeanor and will treat you so much better. As for me and my big appetite for gambling, I won’t be going to The Emerald all because of Phillip and will be having fun at The Pass Casino. Thanks Phillip for not knowing how to treat high rollers. Your loss.

First time visit for lunch with friends. Understandable hour wait for 5-top. Server spilled drinks on table, walked away to remake drinks, one of us had to find another staff with rag and dish bin to clean the spill before it spilled off table onto us. Server came back with - remade drinks and napkins for us to clean table ourselves?! Server proceeded to explain he was having a bad day. Another server took over, we had a nice lunch. Can recommend Italian salad, brisket sandwich, chicken caesar, chili, salmon caesar (large piece of salmon), but not the eggs and steak tips (no flavor). Flustered, I forgot to take pics. This cafe does a huge take out business.

If you are looking for a great place to visit while in Henderson, please go to Emerald Island Casino.
They will not disappoint. From the friendly drink staff to the wonderful food in the cafe you will have a great experience. This place is the wonderful and safe to get to. They have a great safety patrol and such a wonderful floor staff. Dylan, Brian, Phil, floor staff, Chris Cafe, Tim the owner is wonderful. Drink staff from Savannah bar to all the wonderful drink wait staff.

the restaurant is really great! the wait staff is super friendly, they know the menu, the food is always hot and fresh. The casino is pretty standard. these post covid days nothing pays. but the emerald island is a great place to go.

Having spend many, many days on the Strip in Casinos like the Wynn and the Bellagio, I was hesitant to go to a local casino in Henderson when my friend re-located to Nevada.
The first thing I noticed and appreciated about Emerald Island was parking. You could actually park on the street and it didn't cost a dime! It's a quaint little spot that we heard had good food so we went for lunch and stayed - all day.
The waitress (Nancie) was adorable. she spoke highly of the owner and the quality of food he provided his customers. The clientele was on the older side (we felt like teenagers even tho we are well into our 60s) but everyone (staff and customers alike) were polite and engaging. Our cocktail waitress (dang . can't remember her name) was so attentive. it was easy to get a drink and she remember what we ordered and she was happy to get it for us. Although the casino has the charm of an older casino, the machines were top notch and fun and new and exciting. Didn't see any card games - maybe I missed it. They had contests going all day and announced winners throughout the day. Staff signed us up for casino cards and they had giveaways - even got cheesecake that they brought out for all of us.
Unlike most of the older casinos, I was not overtaken by cigarette smoke (and there were smokers).
More than anything we noticed was how happy the staff was. If we hit a jackpot and they were walking by, they would clap or give us a thumbs up. They welcomed us and said they looked forward to us coming back.

We have been here and eaten several times now and I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised at the restaurant. Casino is small and unimpressive but that is okay. The restaurant was exceptional and I was not expecting this. The Steak and Lobster dinner is worth the trip and you won't leave hungry. Tried the ribs last time and there are a lot of them and they are okay but I will go back to the Steak and Lobster. The last place you expect to find such great food it is there. Don't be turned off when you walk in just go to the restaurant. Also very friendly staff.

Do not ever ever ever patronize the Rainbow or the Emerald Casino. Trailer park trash pretending to be someone And acting like a fool. Worst place for ownership and worst place to play if you want to be treated like a regular person who isn't Caucasian. This place is racist to boot on a financial level. If you're not playing at least $2 a hand, you're trash and expendable. They harass regular players for whispering f word UNDER their mask, and wonder why you've said it when the machine continues to rip you off as they expect a tip. You call back to talk to someone competent, but you only get Shane. The same jerk who is rude and has no clue and the education of a sixth grader. I'm freaking over it! Come to Vegas? DO NOT ever go to the rainbow club or emerald casino in Henderson!💯

Quite some time since last here with Covid and everything else.
The workers: some are nice and some just aren't.
The casino: VERY smokey. Extremely smokey. I mean, plan on washing all your clothes when you get home - smokey.

Friendliest Casino you'll ever find ! The restaurant serves GREAT food at low prices with large portions. Casino attendants are very quick to respond to service lights. Not a very large casino but higher than average paybacks and there are promotions of some kind every day. They treat every customer like family and on weekends especially, they have free snacks every couple hours in the afternoon/evening. Love this place !
