This was about a 30 minute experience. Plus side is it’s only a $2 admission. If you like reading up on Vegas history this is the place for you. Easy drive from the strip. Staff were really friendly. Most people would probably really like this place, we are just not museum people.

I think this museum is a must-see if you're in Las Vegas and have the time. For $2 admission, you shouldn't think long and go there. You have beautiful buildings outside that you can also go in and see how people used to live in the United States. For tourists, this small museum is super interesting, as much has also been announced about old Las Vegas. I, who was in Las Vegas for the first time, found this place worth seeing. Just top museum to get to know Las Vegas and how to live there better.

Excellent museum!! Great way to learn about history of the area from pre man through present. Good blend of it all. Loved walking through houses. Great for kids! Lots of hands on for everyone. Worth an afternoon!

I have wanted to visit this place many times while in Las Vegas. I'm glad I did, it was amazing. Plan to spend several hours looking at everything, most of which is outdoors so be prepared. The staff here was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of safe parking some of which is covered for those really hot days.

We thoroughly enjoyed this museum. Be sure to walk through the period houses and the rail station! The exhibits (indoors and outdoors) gave an interesting glimpse into the area's history.

If you are in Las Vegas definitely make the effort to go to this museum. It is so intriguing especially the street with houses/businesses from different past years repositioned to the museum from the local area and where they have recreated furnishings and tableaus applicable to era of the house. There is also a fantastic old steam train. The museum building itself houses information on indigenous people and relative more recent history of Las Vegas. Entry is only $2 and $1 for seniors (55+). Save money on the slots and spend some time here.

The vintage houses were fantastic, loved the history of old Vegas and Hoover dam, plenty to see! $2 entrance fee and great gift shop, certainly worth the drive!

This museum tells the history of Las Vegas and Clark County in various ways. There are a lot of exhibits to explore, both indoors and outdoors. You should start at the indoor exhibit hall, which has exhibits on the Ancestral Pueblo people in Nevada and the history of gaming. Outdoors, we walked a trail that led us to a ghost town. One of the highlights of the museum was a street full of historic houses that have been moved here from other parts of Las Vegas. The houses were decorated for Halloween when we visited. You can easily spend several hours here.

This museum has some outstanding exhibits on Las Vegas and the surrounding area. I really enjoyed learning about Las Vegas in the early years and all the history. This place is worth a visit.

We really enjoyed the visit to the museum. Had a really nice street of historic homes, a fun walk through outdoor exhibit of old buildings and farm tools and a little indoor exhibit packed with lots of items. Well worth the $2 admission and then some for an hour or so. Very clean and well kept.

do you have a venue if we want to have a screening of a documetary film?(for abot 100-200 ppl.)

It's sort of in the middle of no where. Perhaps a tour bus that goes to the M candy store might stop there. I'd just call the museum and ask.

The review was taken out of contect and for another property. It has nothing to do with the Clark County Heritage Museum, which we found to be very interesting and everyone was most welcoming. The director, Mark Hall could not have been nicer. it is unfortunate that somehow another review got posted to this wonderful museum. I will try again to get this deleted.

Price to get in to Clark County Heritage Museum is only $2 pp when we were there. Is quite a ways out of town so probably would need a rental car - if don't want rental car for whole time, perhaps ask at your hotel to see about renting a car just for the day.
