The museum has lots of wonderful displays. I would have spent hours there reading and enjoying the information. However, it was at crowded we had to wait in line to move into the rooms. We could not get near the walls to read the displays. The museum should consider timed entry tickets to limit the number of people in the rooms at one time. I was disappointed that I paid full price but didn't get the full experience.

An interesting exhibition on the history of orgamised crime in the USA. A lot of thought and care has clearly gone into the museum itself. The staff are curteous and helpful. The venue however is let down by overcrowding. There appear to be no restrictions on numbers so every corridor is rammed full of patrons on every floor. Making seeing the exhibits a challenge.
A great place to visit. But go when it is quiet or risk not seeing everything it has to offer.

I loved the Mob Museum! It was so interesting and informative. I did the additional CSI and Distillery activities - both were great and so worth it.

Had been planning on going to the Mob museum and speakeasy for years and had never done it. This trip I was going to go no matter what. Bought the tickets ahead of time to ensure that we would go and not be sidetracked by something else. I'm certainly glad that I did. It was everything and more that you expect in a museum. Interactive displays and lots of history from the beginning until now. Knowledgeable,friendly ,staff who seemed to enjoy what they were doing.and helped everyone have a great experience. You went at your own pace and stay longer at a particular exhibit that interested you the most. A very nice gift shop with something for everyone. Don't sleep on the speakeasy tour. It was informative and a lot of fun. Sample.some very good moonshine and learn about the History of illegal alcohol. Afterwards stay for the jazz performances and have a drink at the bar. The staff and band were excellent. Don't wait. Go to the Mob museum and experience everything it offers.

The Mob Museum is worth visiting at least once. You don't get to see a museum of this type often in the world, namely, a museum talking about gangsters, how it started in the USA, how law enforcements, intelligence, and government handled it in the past with some real examples. Washington DC's Spy Museum has a bit of reminisce. They are both good and educational museums to visit.
The museum used to be an old US post office, a historical landmark. You can purchase tickets online or on the spot, the process was easy and straightforward. Staff were all friendly and helpful in providing directions and answering questions. The self-guided tour/visit starts from the third floor, and you work your way down to the first floor. They also have guest speakers who used to be part of the gang members to speak, the information desk can share the schedule, as it varies daily. They also have optional interactive experiences which you have to pay extra for. I did not have time to participate, so can't comment on them.
It's an informational, educational, and interesting museum. It's located within walking distance of the Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas area. There is a parking lot right outside and a parking garage across the street.
Budget 3 hours so you are not rushed if you want to see and experience everything thoroughly.

There where 3 floors and a speak easy to see. Was very interesting. There is multiple times to sit and watch a video. Cafe inside where you pick up photos. And a court room to watch videos about the trails

Really interesting museum. We went for general entrance and the forensics experience, really worth doing. You can expect your visit to last around 3 hours, there is so much to see. We also went to the talk from an ex-mobster, very eye opening!
You can also see Al Capone's gun and the shot up wall, bullets and autopsy reports from the Valentine's Day Massacre - macabre, but fascinating.

Here's a way to save money at this attraction. If you enter between 9 am and 11 am and buy your tickets online, you save $7 a person. For those of us on eastern standard time, it's a great way to save a few bucks

We really loved this museum, it had 3 full floors of exhibits and information to take in. It was well laid out, easy to navigate, interesting, and informative. There was a lot of information about Las Vegas history and the mob ties, as well as mob history from across the US. It was a really great mix of information and artifacts. All the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. There was a nice coffee shop in the second floor. I liked that there were plenty of places to sit along the way to rest while reading exhibits. We went early to take advantage of an early bird ticket price discount and we were really glad we did as the museum was much busier by the time we left in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend going early. We were not able to take in the speakeasy in the basement between ran out of time in our schedule, unfortunately. We also didn’t purchase any of the add on experiences. I felt the ticket price is a little high, but it’s Vegas and it was worth it in the end for all we were able to see.

The museum itself is fascinating and gives a real insight into the prolific world of organized crime.
But my favorite part was down in their Speakeasy, where you can try.Period correct cocktails. My favorite was the Marlow… Very tasty, and served in a very unique way.

I think it's better to buy online from the museum's website. There are discounts for arriving before 11:00am or after 5:00pm. You can also reserve additional experiences that may sell out the day of.

Yes, they have expanded it, changed some exhibits (made them more easily viewed), and added some films. Hope this helps.

My wife and I parked in Binions parking garage and walked about two blocks to the museum. We then came back to Binions and ate upstairs at Whiskey Liquor Up and got our parking ticket validated. The restaurant was clean and the food was awesome and then parking was free!!
