it has changed as far as vibe goes but not necessarily bad just a more varied vibe. Service was fine as server was overworked and had little time to even snap a photo. Happy Hour available (FYI wine is cheap quality with a cheap price). Food was all the deep-fried choices but a better dinner can be had on the restaurant side. Fun to see the sunken bar of the past!

Finally,after years of going to Las Vegas, We went here for their happy hour..Had fun,ate,and met some nice people around the fire.. Check it out if you get the chance..

This was on our vegas bucket list. We set in the lounge area with fire pit. Vibe was retro and the music (80's hair metal) was great! We ordered a scorpion and a margarita-both were terrible!! I wished we would have sent them back but our service was amazing and we didn't want to complain. Our server was quick and very helpful. We got there at the tail end of happy hour so we ordered some apps that were inexpensive and large portioned. We talked to several people sitting next to us and had a nice time even though we didn't enjoy our drinks.

Service was lacking a bit but a nice value with large portions. We were nearly completely done with our neal before the cocktail waitress came to take our beverage order...The servers do not take your alcohol orders, so you have to chase a cocktail waitress down. Happy hour is the way to go for good portions on a budget

Had to wait for 1 hour for the table which has been booked and confirmed in advance! Had to wait for 40 mins for the salad. The food is ordinary, nothing special. Will not come back and won’t recommend.

Back in the 1970’s my family would travel to Reno often. One of the certain stops was the Peppermill for lunch. I bring this up because Reno was the start of the Peppermill in Las Vegas I have awesome memories from those days and I can still remember the awesome Rueben, which was always my first choice. Great memories and awesome food.
So imagine my delight when I discovered there was a Peppermill here in Las Vegas. Over the years living here I have gone a few times, purposefully going out of my way to the strip in order to eat there. I can’t say anything really sticks out in my mind from those visits one way or the other. Then, my wife had Ana event we needed to celebrate and we decided to go to the PM.
Last night we arrived and it was as I remembered. The throwback style and the purple and blue lighting. It was cool. Everyone was very nice, which is why the two rating instead of a one.
Let’s discuss the food. We live in Las Vegas and have our choice of literally hundreds of places to dine at any given moment. For the most part, the food in LV can’t be matched anywhere we have traveled to. We are foodies and are very fair in describing our experiences.
I ordered the skewers, and my wife ordered the NY NY steak. The first course was salad for her and clam chowder for me. Her salad was very good and the dressing was especially tasty. My clam chowder, although being tasty was barely lukewarm. This kind of turned me off.
When our food came it looked very good. True to PM style, the portions were huge. My wife’s steak was done perfectly but once again, the food was almost cold. My rice
Pilaf had zero flavor and my wife’s mushrooms looked like they came out of a jar, also with zero flavor. It was like opening a cold jar of store bought mushrooms and eating them cold out of the jar. Meh. Her mashed potatoes were okay but pretty thick. No gravy. On my skewers the pineapple had chunks of the core in it so it was stiff and crunchy, which isn’t the way I like my pineapple.
Overall, we were not that impressed, especially with a bill of about $100. We asked our server er if there were any discounts available such as senior, local or first responders. We were told “no, not anymore. Ever since COVID they did away with them. In fact, we don’t even get our employee discount anymore either”.
Some may think I am too critical. Read some of my other reviews and you will see that I am not a negative Nellie. I try to be as fair and honest as possible.

Old School Diner....die Chicken Wings waren der Hammer . Auch der Haupgang ( BUrger und Sandwiches ) waren super . Beim Brownie haben sie es dann aber übertrieben. Das Ding hätte für 4 Personen gereicht :-) . I'll be back.....

Bring your appetite, the portions are huge here. They don't know anything about portion control they just load up your plate with good tasting food.

We really wanted to have a meal at the Peppermill as we had read a lot about it and even seen it in some movies. When we went in October they weren't accepting reservations, so we just showed up and there was a bit of a line up and we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait. The hostess suggested that we wait in the lounge and we are so glad that she did.
Nice and dark and with seats wrapping around a very cool gas fireplace, we were able to sit right at the fire and wait for our table to open up,
Our server was a young girl named Annie who was really nice and quite attentive.
I ordered a pepsi ($4.25), my wife ordered a drink called a Lemon Drop Martini ($12) and the kids had a huge drink called a Coronarita ($16 - basically a Margarita with a small bottle of Corona dumped in it and a drink called Peaches & Cream ($13).
We ordered a plate of nachos ($22) and when it came we were amazed how big the portion was and that it had more cheese than we had ever seen on a plate of nachos. I'm serious - I can not stress enough just how cheesy this plate of nachos was! Incredible!
My wife had a glass of Prosecco ($12) but it was flat so I took it to the bar and they poured her an even bigger glass to replace it. The kids shared a huge Peppermill Margarita too.
There was great music playing and lots of TV monitors playing old music videos and different sports games.
Then our table became available so we paid the bill and moved over to the restaurant.
We unanimously decided that the next time we come here we are just going to stay in the lounge.

Hi, my boyfriend and I came to the Peppermill Lounge last year and had a great time. We’re coming back to Vegas this summer with family - can we take our kids (aged 12 and 19) in the lounge or only in the restaurant? Thanks for your help!

I would say yes...depending on the atmosphere with good judgement. Otherwise, I would say restaurant.

I use TA often for it's reviews. Peppermill's reviews range from "smells like vomit n poor service n terrible food " to " Great food, great service, great place" who do I believe?

Depends on the individual and what you order. Not everyone will agree on good food and service; I'm a Culinarian so I have to look at the big picture. I can definitively tell you this...I will not say it's great if it's not - food or service...You will need to check it out for yourself. Only you know what's best fir you and your palate may be different from most.
Sometimes I can be a bit hard but what can I say. If the service was crap and the food was great don't punish the cook or Chef and vice versa. Give these serviceman/woman their props. They work they butts off. Customers can be rude and waaay to much. I've dined with many.

can't say for sure as I'm not familiar myself. But they're lounge area is a must, and I'm sure they will accommodate you the best way they can.

Peppermils is down the strip heading towards circus circus hotel on the right before the hotel, go in the morning if u want breakfast it gets full hope u have a great time
