Took my young Daughter to Hollywood bowl for the afternoon. See had a really lovely time in the Arcade area (we didn’t fancy doing bowling) Whilst there thought we would get something to eat. Service and staff was very good and as was our food and drinks. However the only really negative experience was that some man decided to behave appalling to a member of staff. He was very abusive and aggressive and extremely rude. The poor staff member a young lad must of been quite frightened by he’s behaviour. I personally was shocked. I must add the staff member handled and dealt with the situation amazingly. He seemed to diffuse the situation really well. Can’t believe that staff have to put up with this type of behaviour. I believe the manager also intervened and helped too. However then to follow the man’s partner/wife decided also to get involved. She was a bit better in her manner and seemed to settle on being reasonable in the end but at first also very rude. Such a shame people feel the need to be like that in such a family orientated environment. Well done the the young lad and Manager. I will not let this put me off, but really writing this in review. So that if anyone reads this they will think twice about speaking or being abusive to staff member of any working environment is not acceptable.

Me and the family went to Hollywood Bowl at Eastleigh for Mothers Day as no other locations nearby suited all of us together. It had been a Long time since I came here (The refurbishment looks really nice though) and was pleasantly surprised with the new machines they had, as an arcade aficionado myself. My infant niece had her eyes set on a Peppa Pig dining set for 1000 tickets, and we had the miraculous Donna confirm they had some (so we could work together to get it for her). Donna was golden in terms of personality and actively engaging with my niece and nephew, so as a thanks, I wanted to make others aware of her shining example of someone who clearly enjoys their job. Thank you for a grand day out, Hollywood Bowl, we look forward to our return! (Special thanks to Donna, who truly made it special for us all :))

First time to Hollywood Bowl in Eastleigh, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. Easy booking, good, clean facilities, easy to use score machines, service for drinks was also good, so all in all good value for money and I suspect we will return very soon

On Friday 14/07/23 I phoned the Hollywood Bowl in Eastleigh to book a session as the website had crashed on me THREE times. I spoke with a lovely lady whose customer service was excellent.
However... DO NOT phone this place. I called the number advertised on their website. The call took 9 minutes and I got charged £1 PER MINUTE!!!
I realise now that it is an 0844 number, and these are pricey... GREEDY Hollywood Bowl : ( I won't be going there again.

I do apologise you have received a high call charge. We charge 7p per minute for our 0844 number, the rest of the charge comes from your phone network provider.
We offer other ways for our customers to contact as, such as the request a call on our website, or you can fill out a contact form and our advisors will call you within 24 hours.

Had a great evening with family but did find it a bit over priced. Grandson enjoyed the arcade but it was very noisy and distracting so close by.

It is a nice feature to Eastleigh given that there is nothing to do in Eastleigh.
However, it is nothing more than alright.
One thing I have noticed and a fair handful of people have noticed too is that the bowling alley is slightly on an angle and the ball curves.
The price is good and the staff are friendly
To be served at the bar it does take usually minimum of 5 minutes to even be asked what would you like dread to think what it will be like when it is busy
All-in-all it could be worse.

DO NOT USE THE CASH MACHINE!
Went to Hollywood bowl and used thier cash machine to withdraw some cash for the kids to play some games.
The machine then reads error and does not provide the money but charges me for the withdrawal and the fee for using the machine.
Staff were not helpful and I had to raise a dispute with my bank to get the money back.
I've since heard that this happens frequently with this machine.
Other than that I've always had a good time at Hollywood Bowl JUST DON'T USE THE CASH MACHINE!!
