Beautiful beach and the cove was beautiful with all of the fish!! Definitely wear water shoes!! If you have snorkel gear, awesome!!

This is a small park along the Circle Island route but a great stop to view the tide pools with tables for lunch (there’s a Foodland across the street) and, fortunately, clean bathrooms (since Foodland won’t let you use theirs. We found out the hard way!)

Pupukea Beach, North Shore Oahu Hawaii
Great for snorkelling when it’s not low tide so check first. You will need protective shoes if you are snorkelling. There are lots of food van close by, including the Pupukea Grill. Another nearby snorkelling spot is Three Tables Beach which has a sandy beach and some shade under trees.

Shark’s Cove and Three Tables are part of the Pūpūkea Beach Park located on Oahu’s north shore. Shark’s Cove, a well-known snorkeling spot because of its tide pools, is great only in the summer months when the ocean is calm. There is no sandy beach here except for blotches between the lava rocks and the shore. Three Tables is so called because of the three flat reefs that can be seen off the beach. They are quite visible during low tide. The best snorkeling is around these tables where there is an abundance of sea life. Both areas are part of the Pūpūkea Marine Life Conservation District. Nearby, are food trucks offering shrimp, fresh fruit, etc

As a couple (without children), we immediately said to each other, "This place is perfect for a family with any age kids." The swimming "pool" is protected by a wall of lava rocks that create waterfalls when the waves crash on the other side. Can snorkel and see fish in safety. There are blow holes that erupt with water from each wave. The beach is sandy, but you'll need sandles to go into the water, which has lava rock underneath. Good scenery for photos. Can take bus to it. Rest rooms. Rinse off showers. Parking. And near the other "big beaches" the surfers use, if you want to go watch them.

We were on our way to dinner after watching the sunset at Sunset Beach, and stumbled across this beautiful little area on our way. Absolutely beautiful as the sun finished setting. It is also near some delicious local spots for food - we went to Seven Brothers after this.

First of all, I realize it is a little silly to rate a beach. That being said, I rated this as average because the "beach" itself is composed of volcanic rock. Very very uncomfortable to sit on if you can find a place at all. The snorkeling was good once you got past all of the rocks. We chose Pupukea because I read in my guide book that there were snorkeling rentals and bathrooms and food nearby. All of that is true. Next time what I would do is go early in the morning, rent snorkeling stuff at the rental place by Pupukea Beach Park, then drive up the road to Wailea Beach Park. That is a fantastic beach and I believe there is snorkeling there too.

My wife and I snorkeled for an hour, seeing lots of colorful, unafraid tropical fish, along with a honu (sea turtle). The turtle wasn't frightened of us; it just went about its business of eating as we watched.
A warning for future travelers: when we were arriving back at our friends' car, another couple ran up to the four of us in a panic, explaining that their car had been stolen while they were snorkeling; they'd left the key to the car in a backpack on the beach. They were here in Hawaii for their honeymoon, and the wife's wedding rings, their cell phones and wallets were in the stolen car. We loaned them our cell phones and they contacted the police who quickly came out and filled out a police report. The couple called their family who managed to locate the car and their phones via a find my phone app. They still lost their wallets and a watch, but it was a happy ending.
Take your key/wallet with you in a waterproof bag while you swim!

The beach was great. The view was great. The water was, you guessed it, great as well. The crowd was huge. We lucked out and found a parking spot right away, be patient. The view is breath taking in areas. We left to move onto another local beach.

ノースにあるすべてのビーチに当てはまるかどうかわかりませんが、わたしの知る限りですと、かなり波は高いのでシュノーケリングはできないと思います。というか、お魚もいないような気がします。場所によっては波打ち際で高波を楽しむという遊び方もできますが、危険ですし、自己責任だと思いますので、私からはおすすめはできないです。ププケアビーチは、湾になっているので、他よりは波は来ませんが、それでも打ち寄せてくる波を見ていると恐怖を感じます。（以前は、能天気にそれも楽しんでいたのですが、今年そのように感じ始めました） ずっと以前にハナウマ湾へ行って以来、今年行ってきましたが、断然こちらをおすすめします。有料で駐車場も混み合いますが（それはププケアも同じ）、魚の量が違いますし、種類も多いですし、何よりライフガードがいるので安全です（油断はだめですが）。それから岩場で足を切るようなこともありません。久しぶりにハナウマ湾へ行って、こんなに良いところだったのかと改めて感じています。

今更ですが返信させていただきます。後の情報源として利用して頂ければ幸いです。
治安は、決して良くはないけれど悪くはないといった感じです。
週末ですと、現地の方がファミリーでのんびり過ごしています。
と、これまではのんきに利用していましたが、カカアコの事件など、思いもよらないところで危険に合うことがわかり、あそこのトイレも危ないといえば危ないなと考えなおしています。
塀で囲んでいるので、不審者やホームレスが隠れていてもわかりませんので。
今年は、WANTEDという張り紙が貼られて、ビーチは封鎖されていました。 時間がなくじっくり見ていませんので、ビーチで遭難か、誘拐などの事件かなどまではわかりませんが、平和にのんびりと遊んでいて大丈夫ではないことがわかりました。
過去には、ノースで日本人の方も行方不明になっているようです。
駐車場は以前から危ないです。（それはハワイどこでも同じだと思いますが）。
今年は、トイレを利用しなくて済むように、ホテルから水着着用で行き、バスタオルなども、あらかじめトランクに入れておき、現地では何も持たずにビーチへ短時間だけ行く計画で、安全性重視で行く予定でしたが、上記の通り閉鎖されておりいけませんでした。その代わりハナウマ湾に行きました。
十数年前に行ったきりで久しぶりでしたが、こんなに良いところだったっけと思えるくらい良かったです。
いろいろな面で、今後はこちらをおすすめします。
もし、ププケアに行くのであれば、ひざまであたりで見れる範囲で見るくらいの方が良いかもしれません。
