best to take kids snorkeling. Free too. better than the $25 Hanauma Bay we did last time. Saw lots of fishes. saw a small group of 10 striped fishes, other fishes too. didn't see a turtle today.

This place wasn’t planned but I’m so glad we found it! It’s a great place to look in the water for aquatic life. We saw zebra fish, an eel, a large blue fish and a turtle. Wear water shoes because the rocks can be sharp.

Shark’s cove perfeita!
Leve seu sapato de andar na água ou uma papete, seu óculos de nadar ou snorkel e aproveite muito esse paraíso!
Estacionamento bem em frente, chegue cedo. Leve sua água e sua comida ou compre algo no foodland que fica em frente.
Muitos peixes e cardumes.
Ideal ir na maré baixa pra aproveitar mais.

Been here a couple of times and the snorkelling is really good. Better than Hanauma bay in my opinion. Definitely a lot easier to get into the sea as it’s unlimited and free.
As special thank you to Che or possibly Cha who helped me out today. I fell on the rocks and dislocated my finger. He got a rope necklace out of his van and wrapped it around my finger then he and I pulled and relocated the knuckle. It’s now black and blue but at least I can move it again!!
I don’t know if he will read this but if you do thank you very much. Or if anyone reads this who knows Che who drives a van say thank you from me please.

One of the best snorkeling spots on Oahu. Located at Pupukea Beach Park along the laid-back North Shore. Snorkeling is only safe during the summer months when the ocean is calm on the North Shore. We were visiting in March and the water was too rough to snorkel as is the case throughout the winter months.

This is a great place to snorkel, but bring your water shoes. Also, don't bring much into the beach b/c you have to leave your stuff pretty far away. Parking isn't very good so you have to wait a while for a spot.

Bus#52 from Ala Moana Centre then transfer #60, towards Northshore. Snorkeling paradise, nice beach.

Great spot to snorkel...make sure to wear water shoes as the rocks are no joke. Saw way more fish and turtles than on the snorkel trip we paid for. Parking is tricky, so try and get there early.

We had a great snorkeling experience here! My teenagers had never snorkeled but my husband and I have in the Carribean. This was better! Fish are so close to you and they are beautiful and colorful. Not super crowded and there is a tide pool area for the younger kids.

This is a gorgeous natural formation. I sure feel bad it is open to the public, it should be a natural preserve. A bit crowded with family with children, since it feels like a kiddy pool. Saw plenty of fish despite of the crowd.

Hi, I've been to Shark's Cove as a visitor, but we are moving to Hawaii in April and I was wondering if anyone knew if dog's are allowed. Thanks!

This site shows the beaches dogs can go on.

Sharks Cove is not really a beach so this site talks about the Cove. It says no dogs.
