我們選擇了這個地區，因為我們想要靠近渡輪，這是一個很好的選擇。在炮台公園附近。我發現M55公共汽車是我們最好的選擇，因為我們討厭地鐵上的所有樓梯，讓我身處其中時感到很困惑，但我的女兒幫我們解決了。

當然，當人們想到紐約市（尤其是遊客或者非紐約本地人），就會想到大多數高樓大廈所在的曼哈頓下城，這裏也是大多數出名的照片拍攝地。這裏也是大多數遊客或者旅行團必到的景點，因為就是從這裏開始布魯克林徒步線路，搭乘前往自由女神像的快艇，或者参觀911紀念地，大多數人都想拍攝華爾街的標誌以及紐約證券交易所，曼哈頓下城另外一個名字就是紐約市區，位於曼哈頓的尾端。這裏周六時很棒，因為百老匯大街會停止對車輛開放，街道上會看到很多美食以及禮品店。這裡是來紐約的打卡景點。

如果你的腿腳利索，那麼就步行吧！這裡有很多地方，例如王子街，1783年獨立戰爭結束后，英國從紐約撤離，這裏留下了一些歷史文物，除此之外還有許多驚喜。在這裏不太會迷路，我沿着施普靈河往東走向埃塞克斯大街。有一座舊建築，一條粗糙的鵝卵石路。。。這裏離唐人街和小意大利並不遠。乘坐地鐵B或者D號線，或者可以乘坐4.5.6號線然後在14號大街轉線，接着在火車站下車。也可以乘坐4.5.6號線然後在鮑威里站下車。又或者乘坐N,R線然後在運河街下車后往東走。在這裏你不需要搭乘公交，大膽地探索這裏吧！

By train, have to take A train to Jay Street, then switch to F train if you want to go to Delancey Street. To South Street have to take F train to Delancey, go upstair and take J train to Brooklyn Bridge to go to South Street. If you want to go see Worlds Trade Center I think you can take A train there.

Looking for a good reasonably price restaurant near Battery Park. Planing on taking the Staten Island Ferry at dusk to get a view of the statue and the Manhattan Skyline. Would like to eat dinner when we get back to lower Manhattan.

It really depends on what you like. like the places a little off the beaten path. Try the Dead Rabbit Grog & Grocery, don't let the name fool you, its a solid and fun place

I would like to find reviews for the Downtown Connection, the FREE Red buses sponsored by Downtown Alliance. I found their website and ordered their brochure. They call it "Your Lower Manhattan FREE Ride"..

Lower Manhattan, there are many trains that goes to the lower Manhattan. If you take A,E,N 4, 5, 6 trains stop at the Brooklyn bridge, from there you can walk to the World center to see the new Towers and to mention the Oculus, it's also a walking distance to go wall street,the charging bull and battery Park the location to pick a ferry to visit the Statue of liberty and Ellis island. The train fare is $2.75. hope this will be helpful. Enjoy your visit to NYC.

Two of my traveling companions are taking a tour of the 911 memorial tomorrow at 11 am but the two of us were not able to get tickets even close to that time. What is there to do really close to that attraction so we will have something to do when they are there?

So sorry I missed this; I have not been back to this site until now as we made another little outing I wanted to review. Yes, there are! And, I hope you found a good one. I'd have directed you to a diner near Gold. Always a good group of NYC police and that means a good breakfast! Not upscale, just good; and, so very local.
