The bridge is very beautiful and historically notable, the environment is suggestive with the deep gorge of the stream.
The restorations may have been appreciable, but now the interior can almost never be visited and, when it is, it is absurdly expensive.

built in the first half of the 1300s.
inside it the waters of the Ru Prévôt flow in the lower part while the upper passage

Near the Castle of Aymaville, Sarre, Sarriod you will find this wonderful bridge. The Roman aqueduct of Aymavilles has two levels: an upper one which allowed the passage of water and a lower one, about one meter wide, ventilated and illuminated, which allowed the crossing of men and animals. It is a private work as evidenced by the epigraph. Advised

Roman bridge in perfect condition, if you are in those parts it is certainly worth a visit for the peculiarity of being able to pass inside it and appreciate its construction

The bridge is very beautiful, it's a shame that the guide at the entrance doesn't guide the tourists with a description. I think it's theft to have to pay 5 euros to travel about 40 meters inside the bridge and not receive even the slightest explanation

You turn the corner and you find it below, climbing over a very deep gorge; This 20-century-old artifact literally leaves you breathless. Beautifully restored with the impressive internal passage not to be missed.
Large free parking 5 minutes away and well organized entrance with ticket office.
Certainly one of the many unmissable pearls of the Vallè.

I have just returned from a holiday in the beautiful Aosta Valley. Arrived at
Pont d'Ael, I go to the ticket office for a guided tour. I pay the 5 euros and go
at the entrance to the site; here I find a guide who, instead of telling me about the history of the Bridge, shows me the entrance and exit. I arrive at the end of the internal walk and
instead of going out, I go back and ask the guide to give me some news about that
that I had seen. At that point he started telling the story of the Bridge but in the meantime other people were arriving, and he showed everyone the entrance and exit without another word. I saw at least a dozen tourists, including foreign ones, who found themselves at the exit after 3 minutes without a word of explanation, looking around with the sensation of having wasted 5 euros.
I just hope I came on the wrong day (my son visited the Bridge last year and took advantage of an interesting guided tour) but this experience really disappointed me.
