Had an amazing time with the family. What a peaceful place full of history, and the veteran's museum gave us a deep dive into the past. Its a very unique hotel inside a 400 year old Portuguese fort. Amazing Sunset and swimming pool.
The drive to balibo Fort Hotel is also so relaxing. It was along the coastal scenic route to the border.
Wonderful experience. Will definitely be dropping by again.

Balibo Fort is a great place to visit if you're travelling from Dili. Just a quick drive and you get to learn all the historical information about Balibo and its history.
Now, Balibo Fort is a historical monument turned into a well-appointed hotel providing much quality hospitality that you can't really find in Timor-Leste now.
