I have three Bed & Breakfast rooms in my apartment, as well as an independent unit that can sleep up to 7 people and another one that can sleep up three people. The apartments "La Dolce Vita" and “Bleu de Mer - Mare Nostrum” are still available from the 12th for Bleu de Mer and from the 13th for La Dolce Vita. If these are not suitable, perhaps I may suggest other apartments or Bed & Breakfast guest rooms in Rome… So it’s a small independent and very charming apartment just above, on the second floor : Bleu de Mer - Mare Nostrum. It is one spacious room with high ceilings and windows overlooking the garden of my apartment below (and therefore very quiet and pretty). It has a large mezzanine (accessed by small stairs) with 2 double beds and a single bed; A bathroom with a combination massage-whirlpool tub, balneotherapy, and multi-jet showers, and an all-equipped kitchen with dishwasher complete the scene. In an alcove, there is a king-size bed, a color TV and DVD which will make you enjoy "la Dolce Vita" while watching movies filmed in Rome as “Roman Holidays”! The apartment has air conditioning and also a fan. There's a fridge containing all you'll need for a delicious, typical Italian breakfast (including different marmalades, ricotta cheese, speck ham, fruit juices, different sugar, honey, brioches, fresh bread, cappuccino, coffee, tea or hot chocolate). You'll have a CD player (with a few tapes specially made by me). Waiting there for you is a real Italian specialty, the famous "Limoncello", a lemon liquor that will delight your senses. All bedding and towels and the breakfast are included. The rates for the apartment are: 150 Euros a night for 4 people, 160 Euros for 5 people, 170 Euros for 6 and 175 for 7 people, all included. Please find enclosed some photos to give you a better idea on what's on offer. And, if you reserve for at least 7 nights, the eighth is free! Our neighborhood, "Porta Maggiore", is well connected (metro and bus are very near) and not far from the Coliseum (20-minute walk). It is also conveniently near the main train station "Termini" (10-minute walk). We are located between the "San Giovanni di Laterano" Cathedral (8-minute walk) and the Vatican Basilica of " Santa Maria Maggiore" (8-minute walk). We are also very near the colorful popular Roman quarter of San Lorenzo. It is filled with restaurants of all kinds (pizzerias, cafeterias, wine bars, family-style places, Sicilian, traditional, fish, elegant dining, etc.). For my home, to park, there is a supervised car park right around the corner for about 20 Euros a night. Otherwise, if your car isn't all that new or enticing, you may want to park it on our street and not pay… As an official tourist guide for the city of Rome, I would be most happy to advise you on the thousand and one things to discover in the Eternal City! If, on the other hand, you have some definite ideas of what and how you would like to explore Rome, I can help you! If you need any reservations, for example for the Borghese Museum where advanced booking is necessary, or any restaurants, please let me know. I can also pick you up at the airport.
