Amazing breakfast and dinner. Tasty pizza and the best salad. Lovely place with really friendly staff. The restaurant is part of a resort. The place looks really cute and nice. We definitly recomend this place.
We loved Bulan Villas. The room was of very high quality, very clean. The staff super friendly. The whole complex has a calm location a bit away from the loud center of General Luna. The pool was very clean and we felt like we are the only guests all day long and could enjoy the pool for our own. And the pizzas are amazing: the best pizza in Southeast Asia I dare to say! This is the best pick in General Luna!
We have just stayed here for 2 nights. Staff were lovely. Very nice to have a pool. The fan rooms are a little warm with 2 people sharing the small bed, but definitely manageable. Would recommend, but urge you to splurge out on a a/c king room!!
FELT DISCRIMINATED AS A LOCAL FILIPINO GUEST! The Management should train the reception staff to be more polite and give equal treatment to local guests. They are only nice and accommodating to foreign guests. I felt discriminated as a local Filipino guest. I was travelling with my parents both Senior Citizens. The moment we entered the Hotel premise, I can already feel unwelcoming look from reception staff receiving us. We have early tour the next day so I requested if its possible to have our breakfast 7 AM or maybe they can pack for us, The staff then rudely replied not possible because their restaurant is still close that time, they can only prepare food for guests who checkout early and implied that its our problem to find food. My father needs to eat breakfast before he can take his medication. I was surprised why they can’t do it when most of the tours starts early. I told her that I will just report the incident to booking.com so that they can improve their policy. Few minutes later, her assistant came to our room saying it’s now possible for them prepare packed breakfast. Really? Now all of the sudden policy is changed just because I said Ill give an honest review. But if it’s a foreign tourist do the request you accommodate them right away. I went back to the reception to choose breakfast for my parents. Before I left back to the room, the rude staff out of nowhere came to me and said, “If you sleep in the room of your parents we will charge you extra 1200 pesos”. I was shocked why she has to say that to me. I booked two rooms, one for my parents and one for me. Why on earth would I squeeze myself to my parent’s room when I have my own room? I live in Germany and have already traveled to 80 countries and it’s the first time having experienced this treatment. I sad thing it happens in my home country. Come on guys. Colonial mentality is what’s dragging our country down.…
We stayed in Bulan Villas for 2 nights and stayed in their Fan Room with shared bathroom and common area. Their room was pretty spacious enough for couples, it has two fans to keep the room cool. The shared bathroom was kept clean during our entire stay. The staff were very helpful and accomodating to your request. I requested to borrow bath towel and bring it in our tour and the staff did not hesitate to give one to us. The staff even offered to bring extra towel. This place is definitely a must place to visit if you go to siargao. It is near to well known food hubs in the Island like Mama's Grill, Buddha Cafe and Warung. It was also walking distance to Bravo Beach Resort, La Carenderia and many more retaurants.
