We checked out early there was black mold all over the side of the bed. We tried to get money back for the early check out but they all of a sudden didn't understand English. Don't stay it's terrible.

They charged me $40 for a night and $10 for early check-in for two people on a weekday. However, the taxes were all included so the price wasn't that bad, but the $14 would have been nice. The place wasn't the cleanest, that is true, but it also wasn't as bad as some of the reviews I've read. I swear I think some people are used to staying at the sterile and boring chain hotel/motels and whinge a bit much when they stay in a mom and pop motel. The thing I absolutely loved the most was that QUIET. I wasn't bothered by the maids, didn't see any though LOL. I hate having some dumb maid knock on my door in spite of the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign hanging prominently. I also hate hearing people have sex. This didn't happen at the Crest, but did at the casino hotels in AC. They have free post cards in the room that show decades old pictures of the place and it used to have a swimming pool. The post cards were very groovy and a nice touch.…

I couldn't believe how awful this place was the sign shows $14.00 and up but we were charged $95.00 the mattress had a rip in it and the bedspreads on both beds had burn holes. the door leading outside was filthy and had notes all over it and all appliances and ceramics had rust stains. I lost one of my earrings after leaving and went back to look for it the receptionist if that what you call him was standing there in his underwear. I was mortified. unfortuantly when we got there it was 3am and there was no other place that had a vacancy. next time we will sleep in the car.

I can't explain why I actually stopped here. I was really beat from a long day of driving, and I guess I just gave up. Don't make my mistake. There has to be a better cheap place. This is a large courtyard motel from the early '50s. It's in pretty crummy shape. The furniture is hideous. There was some sort of old glue all over the bureau. There was a nasty naugahyde chair with a rip in it, and a ridiculous canopy bed with a mirrored ceiling. I felt like some sort of ghetto pimp. The sheets were clean, but that was about it. The wallpaper was bulged, peeling, and stained. Someone incredibly incompetent had assembled wainscotting by nailing odd scraps of vinyl to the base of the wall. Paintings were held to the wall by big screws through the frame and the picture. The whole thing was ludicrous. It did have a clean bathroom, with a nice aqua and black tile shower. For the price ($60 w/tax), I expected a lot more. I had no phone or clock, but there was a microwave and fridge.…
