We moved here after a bad experience elsewhere in Dili and liked it so much we extended our stay. It is extremely simple and will never win a hotel beauty contest, but it is clean and tidy. The apartments have a separate bedroom and little kitchenette and are quite big. There is free daily laundry service, great when you're travelling.
The staff are very friendly and reliable. The manager speaks good English and others have basic English or Portuguese.
This place seems to be popular with Japanese volunteers and has a good selection of Japanese books to borrow.

Affordable, safe and clean hotel located in the heart of Dili. Staff were extremely helpful and although most spoke little English, with the use of charades etc, managed to assist with most enquiries I had. Breakfast was provided and certainly met my needs, cereal, eggs and toast with enough coffee to keep me going. Other hot dishes are available. The free Airport pick-up and drop-off was an added bonus. I intend to stay here again! :)

This is not your average hotel. It's on one of the main streets in the city, yet hard to find due to the lack of a proper sign. The staff here are super super friendly, nice and helpful. They offer free laundry service, and the wi-fi is surprisingly fast. The rooms (technically suites) are large, with a separate bedroom, living room with kitchenette, and bathroom. However, the corridors have the ambience of a 1970s hospital, and the rooms are not much better. Air-conditioning works excellent. Breakfast buffet is ok, with decent variety, and alacarte items made to order (omelettes, american breakfast etc). Breakfast staff does not speak English, but do understand where you are from. When I entered with a Japanese couple, she instantly changed the TV to a Japanese channel, and the next day when I came alone, she switched to BBC World.
It is located in the city center, but central location is not really essential in Dili, as sights are spread out all over the city, and there are actually not that many restaurants in the city center.
We stayed here for 2 nights, went away to somewhere else for 3, then back here for 3. We found it exceptionally good value, very clean, with an excellent breakfast included in the tariff. Also included is laundry, which was really the icing on the cake. We put our little basket outside our room in the morning, to return in the afternoon to find it washed and ironed and back in our room. Pure luxury for me! Ms Yanni the receptionist was extremely helpful and attended to all our requirements including a request for a top sheet on the bed. She also organised taxis for us and allowed a late check out. Nothing was too much trouble. There are very basic kitchen facilities in the room, we did not use them as we found it was cheap to eat out. The bathroom had hot and cold water and a shower - the water just goes all over the bathroom floor but there is a mat provided. We had the bigger room which had a large living area beside the bathroom and bedroom. This had a comfortable lounge chair, 2 desks with chairs, and a small dining table with 2 chairs. If you need to stay in Dili and not looking for 5 star accommodation we would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
